Harry Potter

by J. K. Rowling (Joane Kathleen Rowling)

This books are great! At first I thought they sounded kind of weird, but when I bought one I thought it was really good. It is about a boy named Harry Potter who is adopted by his horible aunt and uncle and he can do really strange things. Then a mystical letter arives and soon after that he learns he is a wizard! Read all of the books of Harry Potter to find out about all his adventures at Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry while he battles with the altimate dark lord. My favorite one of these books is Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Askaban book 3.

Tell us about it! It sounds fun! Sadly, I am just about the only HP obsessed person I know right now, and so I would love to have some people to do that with...

In reply to everyone who wanted to know how the HP party turned out. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

But it didn't turn out ALL the way it was planned. But I won't get into the details right now. The day before the party we went to their house and played the Harry Potter Wii. Which ROCKED. And then we played a Medievel themed game. But then we quit when it got too wierd. Then we played the Harry Potter quote game. (Thanks to whoever came up with the game on Cricket). Then it was time to go. So that was like the Pre-party.

The party was at our house. They brought the snacks over and we had lunch. Which included: Carrot wands, radishes, plums (for the dirigible plums), grape snitches, PB&J cutouts, orange koolaid, "frilled out" green onioin quills with ranch disappearing ink. Me my sisters and a friend came up with naming foods from Harry Potter characters:

The Weasleys: Tomatoes (Percy is a rotten tomato).

Harry: Cucumber( I don't really know why though).

Hermione: Pomegranite(They are supposed to make you smarter).

Hagrid: Pineapple.

Madame Maxime: Watermelon.

Fleur: Lemon.

Tonks: Mango( they have different colors on them, and Tonks can change the color of her hair).

Remus Lupin: Bacon.

Teddy: An egg (You can eat eggs with bacon and you can also color eggs(get it)?

So we had cucumbers, eggs, mangoes, and that's it. Then we went and saw the movie. It was as AWESOME as the first time! Now I'm trying to type the script from memory.

I would have killed Bellatrix.  I LOVED the way she died!  And after she almost killed Ginny, she SO deserved to be cursed by Mrs. Weasley!  I don't think Fred, Lupin, or Tonks should have died, but I do think Snape should have.  It just seemed right (even though it was really sad) for him to die.

The one person I really don't think should have died is Dobby.  I bawled my eyes out during his death!

Bu- bu- bu- but I loves teh Bella!

Anyway, my point was, Bellatrix was a much, much more formidable witch than Molly was. And Molly was angry, so logically her aim should have been lacking... Logically, I mean... *shrug*

You have a point. Mrs. Weasley did seem pretty perfect for killing Bellatrix. However, there is one pesky, undeniable fact that JKR simply overlooked—she just wasn't good enough at witchcraft to kill someone so powerful!

I think that in my ideal ending, I would've had Percy gain a lot of power, and become slightly evil-ish, and be able to perform almost any spell. He'd be almost as powerful as Dumbledore (gradually, that is. And he'd be a year older than in the books). Really, he'd greatly resemble Barty Crouch Sr—on the side of good, but not a good person—but be more awesome. Then, he'd come to his senses, apologize, admit what a fool he'd been, etc. Mrs. Weasley would be crying extensively with joy, and all of the Weasley's would be happier than they'd ever been in their life, because he'd been practically evil, but he wasn't anymore, and he was their family, and etc. In short, it would've been a very emotional moment.

Then, when Bellatrix tried  to kill Ginny, percy would step in instead of Mrs Weasley, and he'd kill Bellatrix. It would all be very dramatic, but it would also make sense, and be logical.

I think Bellatrix is awesome, but she did need to die. It was her punishment, her fate.

Harry Potter is Fantastic!!  I've read all the books about 6 times each, and I haven't gotten tired of them yet!  J.K. Rowling is a very talented author, who has created such an interesting story with lots of depth.  I'd recommend reading the books again after you finish the series once, because after you know the whole story you get a whole new perspective on the events and characters.

@ Hannah: Type the script from memory? ...Have fun. ;)

Regarding Percy, I personally think he should've died without forgiving the rest of his family, at which point Molly would just completely have a mental breakdown and possibly also die, for no reason other than that it'd be interesting.

Though the way JKR did it was good too. ;)

Sorry to all of you Bellatrix fans, but I totally and completely dislike Bellatrix with all my heart! Especially after she killed Tonks! *sob* *sniff* *cries hysterically* Why oh why! Teddy *sniff* will *sniff* never know *sniff* his mum and *sob* dad! *cries like crazy*

...Is it possible to *dislike* a person with all one's *heart*?...

Especially someone like Bellatrix, though. I admit I would've agreed on that a few months ago, but, well... *points helplessly at fanfiction* I blame that.

@ Lena: She's even an Anti. *shrug* And she likes Shakespeare.

@ Hannah: What, you mean Sirius? He was kinda dull, but nice enough I guess... anyway though, he needed to die. It was necessary to the plot.

And... you must admit it's fun when she taunts Harry with the whole, "I killed Sirius Bla-ack!" thing. :)

Mary W.: Um, no, I meant Tonks. She was AWWWESOME! I didn't really like Sirius. But I felt so bad for Lupin, both his best friends dead! And the other "friend" sold out one of his best friends.
