The Sixty-Eight Rooms

by Marianne Malone

This is just one of those books that sounds interesting, then you start reading it, and it was boring. Such was the case when I picked up this book. I abandoned it for a while then started to read it again, and read even further into the book. It is about a girl named Ruthie, when one day she is on a school field trip at the Art Institute of Chicago, and she finds a key that allows her to shrink and explore the Throne rooms. She and her friend Jack both shrink and find out that the backdrops for the rooms are alive, and explore a few of them, narrowly escaping evil each time. I found that this was an AWESOME book, and recommend it for all ages, and cannot wait for the rest of the series to come out!

I just read that! I loved it. The cockroach part was disgusting! Is there really going to be a whole series?
