Wonder

by R.J. Palacio

Wonder is a phenomenal book about a boy who was born with facial deformities. Throughout the story, he has to learn how to cope with students staring, gaping, and teasing him as he walks down the hallways of Beecher school. After homeschooling for four years, 5th grade is a rude awakening of how rude kids can be.

R.J. Palacio has written a heartwarming, inspiring, emotional novel that I believe every kid should read.

This was a GREAT book! I liked the book's message: Never judge a book by its cover. I think my favorite character, besides Auggie would be Summer, since she was one of the first to treat him like a true friend would. And yep, I think every kid should read it!!
