This book is about a professor in San Fransisco who takes a year off from work to go in a hot air balloon across the Pacific Ocean. But only 40 days later, he is found in the Atlantic Ocean with the wreakage of 20 hot air balloons surrounding him and he wonit tell anyone but the club that he's in how he got there. This book is from 1947, when it won the Newbery Medal, but even though it's kind of old, it's stilll really good.
