The Mysterious Benedict Society books

by Trenton Lee Stewart

The books are soooo awesome! If you are a girl like me you would want to be Kate. The books are full of mystery and are amazing. I totally recommend that. In the first book one of the kids sees an add in the paper and it says, "Are you a gifed child looking for special opportunities?" So when the boy sees that, he decides to ask his tutor to go to the place where a test is being held and she lets him go. That is all I can tell you. I hope this inspires you to read the books and I hope you enjoy them!Smile

SmileThis is, by far, one of the best stories ever told. I would call it science fiction. I hate science fiction, but this has, by far, changed my mind about i. I could definitely call it fantasy. But when reading the first one, LOOK OUT FOR MR. CURTAIN and DON"T GET CRANKY WITH CONSTANCE CONTRAIRE. Trust me, Constance is AWESOME!!!!!!!! Be sure you read the other ones, too. I would recommend reading the one about Nicholas Benedict first. I would also recommend this book to 3rd graders who LOVE reading all the way through 7th or 8th graders reading for entertainment. I read this book in 3rd grade (but I read way ahead of everyone else in my grade) and I must warn 3rd and 4th graders not to be scared of the length of the book. Also, the first 200 pages are not all that great, but JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO THE ENDING BECAUSE THEN YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!
