Coraline

by Neil Gaiman

Coraline is a book about a girl named Coraline. Her parents don't pay much attention to her. One day she finds a portal that leads to a world where her other parents are. The other mother traps her real parents and tries to give Coraline button eyes and take her soul. Coraline makes a bet with her. If she finds her parents, she gets to go back home forever. What will happen? This book is very adventurous and filled with imagination and mystery.

I will give credit to the author that the idea is original, and it's very well written. The thing is, DON'T READ IT IF YOU DON'T LIKE HORROR TYPE STORIES. This book gave me nightmares, and I don't usually get too freaked out by books, so beware.

I read this book- IT IS NOT SCARY AT ALL! Sure, other people may disagree with me, but I find it just a little scary. Not creepy scary. No nightmares for me. And, by the way, this is a girl who still cries during Pixar movies.
