Call Me Hope

It starts with a girl named Hope who has to deal with her abusive mother. She tries to find confort in her room studying the Holocaust, getting a job at a nice second hand shop, and keeping her hopes high of going on the school trip outdoors. But when one day, one little mistake seems to make everything she's made crash down, will Hope ever find the strenghth the push herself back up again and admit how she feels to her mom?

I read this with my mom and we both thought it was really good. Hasn't anyone else ever read of it?

I've read the book. It is really sad at some parts, but other parts are happier. My favorite part is when she buys her new boots and when she gets the job at the store.
