Peter and the Starcatchers trilogy

by Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry

These books RULE! They are a story of what happened before Peter Pan~how he met Captain Hook, how Captain Hook lost his hand, how Peter gained the ability to fly. Peter, an orphan, is put aboard the ship Neverland, where he meets Molly. Molly tells him that the ship is carrying a huge amount of a precious and powerful substance called starstuff. Peter and Molly must fight with their lives to protect it.

I agree. These books do rule! They offer a good explanation to everything that happens in Peter Pan.

Yeah, these books are good. Once again, my fantasy-hating mother disagreed with this. She only let me buy as long as I returned it afterwards.

I loved reading the series!!! There is also a Broadway play, Peter and the Starcatcher, based off of it, and I recommend seeing that too. It ends January 20th! So, read the books, and if you can, see the play.Smile
