Brisingr

by Christopher Paolini

This book is about a teenage boy, named Eragon. He has made many promises and now is the time to fulfill them. Eragon told his cousin that he would help find his betrothed, and promised the dwarves that  Saphira, his dragon, would fix Isidar Mithrim, the star rose. There will be many battles along the way.

I thought these books were pretty good, but they copy a lot from The Lord of the Rings. Here's what it copied:

1. THE NAME ERAGON

2.THE NAME RORAN STRONGHAMMER, (in the Lord of the Rings there is someone named Thorin Oakenshield.

3.THE ANCIENT LANGUAGE, not from Tolkien, but he copied alot of the words from welsh and the runes were similer to viking language.
