Princess Academy
by Shannon HalePrincess Academy is about 14 year old Miri, who lives on Mount Eskel. She wishes to work in the quarries, but her Pa won't let her. One day messengers from the king come to say that the Prince is to wed a girl from this mountain, and that the girls must go to an academy where they would learn to act like a Princess for the Prince to choose from. Miri gets frustrated with the harsh tutor, Olana, and is tempted to run away. One day danger comes to the academy, and Miri must find a way to save the girls.
I just finished this book. It was SO good.

I loved it. You should try Goose Girl its by the same author.

It was one of my favorite books. I discovered it after reading the Goose Girl.
