FOR ANYONE WHO LOVED THIS SERIES: Read "The Heroes of Olympus". It still has Percy, Annabeth, and Camp Half-Blood, but there are a few new characters and a different plot! The last book came out a few months ago!

Those are my favorite books! I love them and I love Greek mythology! I started reading them when I found the first one in my baby brother's room and I just kept getting them and now I have read all of them!

My favorite character is Annabeth, because she is kind of like my role model, but I don't like how they gave Annabeth brown hair and finally realizing what her real hair color was in The Sea of Monsters. If you didn't read the books before you watched the movies, you would have thought her hair was dyed blonde in the second part.

I only ever saw the 1st movie because my aunt let my family borow it but they CHANGE HER HAIR COLOR??? How absurd; just leave it wrong, half the people who watch it won't even know.

I enjoyed the original series but I think the others he wrote were horrible. The Red Pyramid didn't even make any sense! However, in the original series, I enjoyed how Rick Riordan placed all of the characters in modern setting. Percy's unique sense of humor is hilarious, and I've learned a bunch of stuff about Greek mythology.

I LOVED JUST ABOUT ALL OF RICK RIORDAN'S BOOKS!!! Everything about them was amazing including the humor. All of the books are hard to put down and are always leaving me ready for the next in the series.

I get that people love these books because they have an exciting story, but the writing is not interesting (in my opinion) and I got bored really fast. I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just don't care for these books... the Red Pyramid series was okay but hardly better.
