Harry Potter Series

by J. K. Rowling

This is an AWESOME series about a boy named Harry who, through the seven books, learns about his fate, his family, Horcruxes, dementors, Lord Voldelmort (fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself), and more. I strongly disagree with everyone who thinks these books are evil. It is about courage and love. Just because something is magic does not mean it is evil. I definitely give these books five chirps.

I love these books, too, and also disagree about them promoting evil. After all, there are plenty of other books with magic in them, but everybody focuses on these. I like the third book the best, the fifth book the worst. The last 2 chapters in the 7th book make up for all the bad parts, so its pretty high on my list. Ciao!

Before I read Harry Potter, I always thought witches were evil and wizards not evil. Harry Potter totally changed my mind.

I really hope J.K. Rowling will write another series.

Harry Potter is one of my favorite characters of all time. I met him as a second grader, and that summer I was horrified that someone actually died in the fourth book. I was too scared to read the fifth and sixth books until the middle of third grade. I happily anticipated the seventh one, which I adored. I love the end of the seventh book, where you find out what happens after the end. Oh, and  I almost forgot... Luna Lovegood is wonderful!

Ye, they're probably some of the best books of this century (well, one was 1999, but still). About the evil thing... yeah, I still need to convince my grandfather that the morals are excellent and Christian and such... ;)

You can just tell him the good guys win and it's all about love and the power of love and stuff like that. :)
