Julie of the Wolves is a story about an Eskimo girl named Miyax (English name Julie) who runs away and finds herself lost in the wilderness with a pack of wolves. She manages to make friends with the wolves, especially the son of the leader, Kapu. This book was absolutely thrilling and I learned so much about Alaska. Read it! You'll be enraptured!
