Call Me Hope

by Gretchen Olson

Call Me Hope was a WONDERFUL book- I have already read it three times.  It's a good book to read when you think your life has a lot of problems.  Hope is an eleven (almost twelve) year-old.  She lives with her mom and older brother, Tyler. Sadly, Hope's mom uses words and looks to abuse Hope. This is the story of Hope's point system, Nazi's (history class) and Jews, Next to New consignment shop, and how Hope grows and learns.  But will Hope come to the end of an up and down life style or will her mom continue to call her dumb?  I am not going to tell you. I recomend this book to all (this book may prove beneficial if read by a mother and daughter together)!!
