Harry Potter fans, listen up! Non-Harry Potter fans, listen anyway! The NEW aura of Harry Potter is here! (Well, it's BEEN here, but who cares?) But this time instead of wizards, it's Greek Myths. The Percy Jackson series is possibly the BEST series ever written! The first book, The Lightning Theif, is about Percy Jackson (um, duh!) the kid who always gets into trouble. Then he finds out that he is not an ordinary kid -- he's the son of Poseidon! Zeus's Bolt has been stolen and who gets the blame? Percy, the only living offspring of the Big Three (Zeus, Poseidon and Hades for you non-Greek Myth readers). Now he goes on a quest to find the Bolt and prove that he is not the Lightning Theif with the help of his friends Grover and Annabeth. But if Percy didn't steal th Bolt, then who did?

I reccomend THE LOST HEREO for you. It is by RR. It is GREAT!!

Yes this book was amazing. And I agree that it is the new Harry Potter except for much better because it also tells you some about another culture and what that culture believed in an adventure packed book. So it is somewhat educational.

I so loved this series! I read the first four books in about a week! In fact, I was about to review the series when I realised you already had!Smile For all you people who need more convincing to read it-

Imagine this: your father abandoned you when you were a baby and was lost at sea. You and your mother live with the stinkiest, meanest man on earth. Then one day, you learn your best friend is half goat, your father is a powerful god from stories you thought were just myths, and the only safe place for you is a camp for half-bloods. Percy Jackson is in this situation. Read his story.
