As her world falls to pieces and horrible new stepparents make her life hard, Coriander must face hidden dangers as well - for she has discovered a truth about her mother that was being kept a secret from her....could it be that the beautiful Eleanor Hobie, known for her knowledge of herbs and flowers and her gentle way with her family, was a fairy princess?
Coriander soon finds herself caught up in a dizzying vortex of good and evil, in which she seems to be everyone's key player....
All I can say is that this is suuuuch a wonderful book and read it, read it, read it!!!!

Is this some sort of book where history and fantasy are mixed together?
