Nancy Drew and the Secret of the Old Clock

This book is great! It is the first book in the Nancy Drew series! There are about 100 more Nancy Drew books! In this book Nancy Drew is trying to help some of her friends (not all of them are her age, most of them are older, as in 60s-80s). Anyway, she is trying to help them because they all were friends with Josia Crowly, the interesting old man who just died. In his willl all of the money went to the rich and snobby Topham family because they "helped" him in his old age. Nancy is convinced by some clues and interesting facts that there may be a later will! At the same time she is also trying to catch some theives who stole something that may have the later will in it! Does this contain the later will? Is there a later will? Read the book to find out!

this is a good book. if u like this uwill like hardy boys books. i think #9 in nancy drew seiries is the best but #45 and #58 give it a run 4 its money!

My mom loved the series as a  child, and she recomended it 4 me! i only read the first book but its awsomeCool u rock

Hi, I love reading the Nancy Drew books!  I like ''The Hidden Staircase'' and ''The Secret of the Old Clock''  a lot, and many other ones too.

i bought some more Nancy Drew books a few weeks ago! I also have read the first Hardy Boys book!

I've read some of these books and I loved every one I read! Did you know that there are 3 different versions? I like the 2nd version best, but sadly, it's also the rarest.FrownCry The original has been restored, and so it still is published (the ones that say "Just like you remember her" on them), and of course you can still buy the newest versions. But as for the 2nd version, only used copies are available, ones that adults saved from their childhood. I have 2 from my mom, and there are about 5 at my local library. I might be able to find some at Half-Price Books, but there won't be any at a regular  bookstore.

I like pretty much all the Nancy Drew books, and I have pretty much all the Nancy Drew books.  Kirby B, you got some things wrong. There are 56 original Nancy Drew books, and in the later books (starting book #5) her best friends are George Fayne and Bess Marvin. I do not like the books 57-up. They are not as good as the originals.
