A fun and fascinating series. Nothing at all like the TV show. Nothing. At all.

I love this series so much! I got the series for Christmas and we read the first book in class. We had a luncheon in class that we called The Little House luncheon.  We all dressed up in pioneer costumes. I loved the book a lot but I didn't have the last book. When I got to my Grampa's house I was very bummed because I was almost  at the end of the series and I still didn't have the last book. There was a little suprise when a day later my brother found the book in one of my Grandpa's book cases. I immediately started reading a little bit faster because I really wanted to get to the last book. I liked the series so much because the author described her life at a very different time than now. I would have liked to have seen a one room schoolhouse.

This is totally random, but it bothers me that so many people say Little House on the Prairie series (2nd book) instead of Little House in the Big Woods series  (1st book). I had to get that out, sorry. :/
