The Tale of Despereaux

by Kate Dicamillo

A mouse who loves a princess. A rat who yearns for light. A town with no soup. This story is a very good one, about a small mouse named Despereaux. Read and find out how Despereaux and his friends and foes help each other, and what becomes of them as they live their dreams.

I love this book!!!!!! They have a movie, too. Like pretty much every book-turned-movie on the planet, the book is better than the movie, but the movie was fairly good. Emma Watson narrated one of the characters.
