Fairest

It is about a girl named Aza whos voice is the fairest in all the land.  That is one of the two things she has from Athora; the other was beauty.  She was the ugliest person you could ever see, but her voice made up for it.  One day she gets to travel with the duchess, be the lady in waiting for the queen, being in love with the prince, and find her inner beauty all at once.  When she finds it, she was way off course from what she thought of, which was ogres.  With a near death experience and a magic mirror, it's no wonder this book is the twin of the book Ella Enchanted.

I think that this book is totally AMAZING! Gail Carson Levine, in general, is a wonderful writer, and she as done it again, for this fantastic book Fairest. This book is just like Ella Enchanted, but the plot is slightly different. Everybuggy should read this book! It is fabulous!

I noticed that Farist is actually in the same universe as Ella Enchated. In fact, Asa's sister is Ella's best friend.

I noticed that Aza and Ella have about the same personality, too. And they both fall in love with princes who are almost exactly the same...The two books are both good, but they have so much in common. I wish that there was just a little more variety here!

Really!? I found both the books completely different!! You know there are some other books by Gail that I've read. They are called Ever and The Two Princesses of Bamare. They are awesome!!!!

Is Ever good?? I have not read it yet??? But Fairest it the best book in the whole world!!!!

Ever is another great book!!!!!!!! A girl and a god fall in love and the girl (I 4get her name) has 2 complete a test but much more complicated. You should read it 2 find out the ending!!!!!!!

I agree, Ima Bookworm. There needs to be a little more variety but I LOVE Gail Carson Levine. I really liked the 2 princesses of Bamarre. That is my favorite one of her's.

I didn't like Ever as much as Ella Enchanted or Fairest. It was still good, though.

I've read this book at least two times. It's one of my favorite books ever! I love all of Gail Carson Levine's books. I recommend this book for sure!
