Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Ultimate CB Book Log
Have you read...

Have you read a book recently?

Enter its name here. This is the 2017 Ultimate CB Book Log. Well, technically starting in 2016, but who cares?

This is a place for us to keep a huge, giant log of books, both for ourselves, and also so other CBers can see what we're reading. Everytime you finish a book--whether you've read it or not--put its name and author here. You don't have to talk about it or anything...you just type in its title. We can discuss books here if you want, but it's not required.

Have fun!

I think this is a great idea, Owlgirl!

*Slaps forehead* *again!*

I reloaded the page and my typed-up work was gone! ARGH. I'm just going to re-type it... as best as I can remember, anyway...

I should have known this would happen... I haven't been updating BaB (this thread) with which books I have been reading. You see, our local libraries are in the midst of a Million Page Challenge. Xxxx* County always wins. (Hopefully not this year... *evil laugh*...)

It started Friday the 17th (of February) and it ends on March 31st.

Here are the books that I can remember.

-Eragon, and Eldest, by Christopher Paolini

-The Candymakers, and the Candymakers and the Great Chocolate Chase, both by Wendy Mass

-The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis (all seven)

-The Pinhoe Egg, by Diana Wynne Jones

-Dealing with Dragons, Searching for Dragons, Calling on Dragons, Talking to Dragons, all by Patricia C. Wrede

-The Emerald Atlas, and the Fire Chronicle (I also read the Black Reckoning, but it didn't count, because I checked it out online at a different library, and it only counts if you check it out from the library...), by John Stephens

And I'm sure I'm missing something, but that's all I can think of now, so, I'll check in later (probably in a week, but before we go to the library so I can check my log sheet).

Heartland Bk. 1: Coming Home-Lauren Brooke

I know it's a relatively short book(140 pgs.) but I REALLY enjoyed it. I love the TV show that is based on the books, and I have to say, the books are pretty good. The one I just read gave a lot of details that the couldn't. Plus, you can see how close Amy is with her mom.

Oops, I forgot to put what the asterisk by Xxxx County meant!

*I put Xxxx instead of its real name because I don't want anyone seeing it and guessing my location...

Yeah, but check out common sense media's review of it first. It's AMAZING but it's kinda mature.

No way... I finished that just a few weeks ago! (Too early for the Million Page Challenge, though.) My friend recommended it to me and it was a great book! While I'm on here anyway...

-The Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander (my mother managed to find them all in one volume)

-The Snow Spider by Jenny Nimmo

-The Fire Within by Chris d'Lacey
