The Girl on the Wanted Poster

So, I was writing and this idea just popped into my head (ya know, like they do) and it was a book title: I'm in Love with the Girl on the Wanted Poster. And I began thinking of the story, about this boy who has a crush on the kingdom's most wanted criminal, a girl with fire powers and a lot of spunk. I was thinking it would be told from both perspectives, the boy's and the girl's, and eventually their paths cross and they must unravel their world's mysteries. I've already drawn the kingdom's map, and written much from both perspectives. However, I don't have a name for the girl, the boy, or the kingdom yet, and I could use some feedback.

What do you think?

I like to look up the meanings of names or maybe 'Names that mean so-and-so' and then find one that I see fitting for my character. 

As for Worlds' names...I like making mine up...so I'm not sure if I can help you there.

I love the idea! Are you going to weave this in a darker, 6 of Crows-like pattern or make it more light-hearted like the Percy Jackson series? 

I think you've already seen a lot of names, so I'll just give a few suggestions.

For the girl, maybe she dropped her birth name (maybe one from the lists other CBers provided) and took on a new name? Like Azar or Fiametta (both mean "flame" or "fire")? Or maybe Imelda or Armina (which both mean fighter). As for surnames, Eld, Brand, Laflamme (that one's obviously French for fire), or Carnifex (indirectly related to the word assassin). Azar Carnifex has a nice ring to it if you're going for "dark."  Armina Eld sounds nice too, and Imelda Brand has some flair to it. 

For the boy:

Tris, Sajan, Accalon, Connor (meaning strong-willed), and Dyzk are all great names. 

And for the world: Canglemirotu, Cyn, and Stygia.

I'm still not sure whether it'll be dark or lighthearted, but my writing tends to always have a dark edge to it, so it definitely won't be all butterflies and rainbows. I appreciated all the name help! And Rose Bud, thanks for the ideas.

OH MY GANDALF I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! I feel like I had a similar idea a while ago, maybe when I was in third grade. My writing skills weren't quite advanced fully yet, so I dropped the idea. I AM SO GLAD THAT THIS IS A THING!!! You rock, Embers.

Oh. My. GOSH!!! This is an amazing idea. I feel like it should be darker but that's just my opinion, its your story. Anyway, I would totally read this.

Please, please write this! Girls names: Jaiden, Hallie, Haylei, Carolyna, Angelle (Oan-gel, soft g) Boys names: Johannes, Gak, I really can't think of any others. A tip-what I do for fantasy names a lot(and what I'm doing for the kingdom) is type random letters (e.g. hdkeus) and then see what I can make of it (Hadekus). It's really fun.

Kingdom names: Ajuchun (a-g(soft g)-ch-un), Eru (exactly the way it's spelled) Djinneh (djinn-ah).

Maryn~

My eyes pop open from a deep slumber. I glance around, still groggy and sleepy-feeling. I'm in an unfamiliar bed, in unfamiliar clothes, surrounded by unfamiliar people. My loose white gown barely comes down to my knees, but... that seems to be the least of my problems. My whole left hand is metallic, the palm glowing a strange purple hue, and making faint ticking and whirring noises. Upon further inspection, my right hand has two segmented fingers, making the same noise and glowing within the joints. In its socket, my right eye feels cold and unnatural, it's vision sharper and clearer than that of a normal human eye. All of these new parts have long wires snaking out of them into a large central device in the room. It looks like a large metal box with lots of buttons and switches on it. Many other wires are protruding from it as well as mine, all leading to other people in the room. Some are sitting up, looking around, while others are still asleep. I don't recognize any of them, but all of them have metal parts similar to mine. I wish I knew who they were, but my main question is: 

Where am I? And why can't I remember any of this?
