Guys...I'm a crime writer now.

JK I BET I GOT YOU!

Well, not 100% wrong, actually.  My class just read S. E. Hinton's The Outsiders and IT WAS SO GOOD I CRIED AND I DON'T CRY.

Anyway, there were 4 big events that happened in it:

((SPOILERS AHEAD))

1: Johnny Cade kills someone

2: Johnny Cade and Ponyboy Curtis save some kids from a burning church.

3: Johnny Cade dies after getting stuck in the burning church and getting hit with a big piece of flaming wood.

4: Dallas Winston is killed by police brutality.

((SPOILERS OVER))

Then my teacher gave us an assignment to write a biased crime report based on one of the 1st, 2nd, or 4th events.  (The third one isn't really a crime so it doesn't count)

And I wrote a biased crime article on the 1st one.  I had to google a bunch of stuff, but it was totally worth it, and super fun too!  Being an actual crime writer might be cool for an actual job.
