Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality
I heard about...

I heard about HPMOR on an old thread here, I think it was called Devil's Advocate: Harry Potter or something like that. And yesterday, because I was bored, I decided to look it up and start reading.

And it is AMAZING. Basically, imagine you combined Artemis Fowl (from Artemis Fowl), Bean (from Ender's Game), Draco Malfoy (from Harry Potter), a bit of common sense, and a mysterious dark side (or anger management issues). Now, give this person two (step)parents who adore books and love him, make him the subject of a prophecy, give him a whole bunch of money, slap a scar on his head, and name him Harry Potter.

Plus, you have an author who thinks about things like, "How does magic work?" and "Why do you have to say wingardium leviOsa instead of wingardium leviosA?" and "Why does the value of Galleons vary so much?"

So, while I don't think it's an actual book, it's book-length with book-plot and book-amazingness and you can find it online by Googling it. I'm currently on chapter 28!

Has anyone else read this? Has anyone else heard of this? Please say yes!!
