So, this is for anyone to put hints about a book and then others can guess it.

Book #1: 

In this book, the characters spend the summer sailing on a lake.

One of the character's name is Ruth, but she goes by a different name because pirates are ruthless.

Book #2:

In this book, the main character's friends are Peter the goatherd and Clara Sesemann. 

The main character loves her home on the mountain and her gruff grandfather.

Book #3:

In this book, the worst thing for the world turns out to be the best thing for the main character. 

The main character loves the her new guardian's horse, whose name is Butter.

Book #4:

One character freaks out when she loses her very important list and worries that her sister will blow up. 

Another character is immediately captured by the glamorous looks of a boy on a skateboard.

Another character discovers her hidden musical talent.

Book 4 is the Penderwicks at Point Mouette!  I love that book so much, it's hilarious!

Oh my gosh I love all of those books!!!! (Except for 1, no idea which one that is [please tell me, I would like to read it {although someone might have posted it and I haven't seen it yet; I'll see as soon as I finish posting this}])

Book 2 is Heidi by Johanna Spyri, Book 3 is The War that Saved my Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley, and Book 4 is The Penderwicks at Point Mouette by Jeanne Birdsall.

Book #1 is Swallows and Amazons.

Book #1: The main character is a girl who wants to be a boy. At the end of the book, her Mom gives birth to a baby sister and the girl changes her mind. Mary Janes. Cul-de-sacs. A circus, where there was supposed to be a nude but it was actually just skin-colored underwear.

GOOD LUCK ON THIS ONE I DUNNO WHAT THE HECK IT'S CALLED!

Book #2: Five kids. They touch alien matter and get superpowers. Eventually they all wind up going crazy and dissolving into mayhem, and the main character's lover gets third-degree burns on his legs from a jetpack.
