Ranger's Apprentice!!

I haven't seen anything where people can talk about Ranger's Apprentice, so here goes!

Some questions I guess we can start the conversation with:

1) What book is your favorite, and why?

2) What character is your favorite, and why?

3) Which of the subspecies (Ranger's Apprentice, Royal Ranger, Early Years, Brotherband) is your favorite, and why? 

My favorite book has to be Emporer of Nihon-Ja. My favorite character is...this is really hard to tell. Erak, Gilan, Alyss, and Horace are probably my top four choices. My favorite subseries...this is really hard as well. Ummmm...I've only read the first book so far, but Brotherband is shaping up to be pretty good. I guess all the subseries are really good, though. I mean, Early Years is really short and sweet, but it is still super good. Of the Royal Ranger books, I've only read the first three, but I think that they are also awesome. Of course, the basic series, Ranger's Apprentice, is great as well. I just can't choose!

back to the Blab about Books

1) My favorite book is probably Ruins of Gorlan, if I'm being honest. The other ones are nice, but they're really more like TV episodes, whereas Ruins of Gorlan just stands on its own.

2) My favorite character is Halt. Always and forever. Do I need an explanation?

3) It's hard to tell, since I haven't read Early Years and I've only read the first 1.5 books of Brotherband. However, I think even if I'd read them all, I'd still say Ranger's Apprentice is my favorite.

Yesss, I love Ranger's Apprentice! Did you know there's a new Royal Ranger? I haven't read it yet, but I've heard it's really good!

1. Ooh, that's hard... I definitely like The Emperor of Nihon-Ja, particularly the whole subplot with Alyss and Evanlyn, but I also love Erak's Ransom, since it's just full of moments where I remember thinking, "ooh, yes, this is fabulous," and of course The Ruins of Gorlan is also excellent. They were all so young and naive back then...

2. Alyss, hands down. She's like who I would want to be if I were in Araluen. Poised, confident, diplomatic, powerful...

3. Well, I have to say I hated Early Years. Brotherband is good, but rather different, and although I do love Royal Ranger, I miss the characters in the base series. Will and Horace and Alyss and Evanlyn and Halt and Gilan and Crowley and Pauline were all so awesome together. So... probably the original Ranger's Apprentice.

My Favorite book is:

Halt's Peril because it's the origanl three again and the quips are so funny. 

HALT IS THE BEST CHARECTAR!! YOU CAN'T CHANGE MY MIND. Maddie is ok. But she's so bratty in the first royal ranger book. Halt is the best charectar becuase. He's Awesome, He's awesome, He coffe drinker, He awesome, He cinnamon roll, He awesome, he awesome, loves will, he's awesome, loveable, he's awesome, and AMAZING jokes.

My favorite subspieces is Ranger's Apprentice, BUT it is followed closley by 1st early year book.
