Okay so do you know the cricket mag short story contests? Well I entered my story in the friendship one and guess what? I WON SECOND PLACE!! It's gonna be published in April under my pen name January Martins! I'm super amazingly excited and I'm just gonna brag for the next few words. Okay so I didn't even think it was that good! It was a last minuet thing I put together cause why not? I'm literally the happiest I've been all of 2021!

Ooh, congratulations, Juni, that's so exciting! I've always wanted to enter those, but I keep forgetting, and I always wonder if any of the winners are from the CB, so I'm glad you told us! I can't wait to read it.

By the way, how does the process work? How do you get contacted to learn that you won?
