This game's probably been done on here before, but I thought it'd be fun to do again. Basically, someone posts a line of dialogue from a book, and other people try to guess what it's from. There's not really any winning or losing, it's just fun. So without further ado, let's see how many fandoms I can summon with these quotes:

I don't know any of these, but this game seems really fun! So I'm topping it!! Here's a list of my favorite book quotes for people to guess:

For the first one-Emma by Jane Austen! Second one... Little Women I think? If not some novel from older times. I think the third one is A Tree Grows In Brooklyn which I recently read (SUCH A FREAKING GOOD BOOK) I don't know what the fourth one is.

yup, you got them all!! I love A Tree Grows In Brooklyn so much!! It's probably my favorite book, I think. I was putting off reading it for so long because it seemed like a book that would be boring, but then I just fell in love with it.

I know one quote, and it is my favorite quote in that series.
"I am not ruined. I am ruination" is from the Shadow and Bone series, and it is by far my favorite quote. Never get on Genya's bad side.

and, um, I cannot for the life of me remember what book number 3 is from. I'm pretty sure it's Agatha Christie but, uh, no clue which one :/
here's a hint for number 4: it's a quote from a literal watchdog.
