Signs the Admins

Signs the Admins have censored a comment

I, Joe, having submitted a number of complex teenager material which was deleted by the CB's overseers, have quite a bit of experience with them erasing portions of my posts. I also know quite well how to spot a comment that what censored which I did not submit...

1. Look for language errors. A hurried Admin checking the CB before going to work won't exactly stop to proofread a post he/she is censoring before putting it up. For example, let's say someone is asking another person two questions. One of the questions they ask is deemed inappropriate. The Admin deletes it, leaving only one question, and makes a brief edit to this sentence:

BEFORE:

"I have a couple of questions to ask you, it's okay if you don't want to answer them..."

AFTER:

"I have a question to ask you, it's okay if you don't want to answer them..."

The Admin will quickly submit the incorrectly written post and head off to work.

2. Inconsistent writing styles/not sounding like the person who's supposed to be writing: Also a sign. If the author of the comment writes "I am sick of my mom complaining about my laundry loads being too big for the washer," and the Admin, for whatever strange reason, decides that laundry problems are not age-appropriate (just an example Admins, not saying you'd actually do such a ridiculous thing), and then...

BEFORE:

"I am sick of my mom complaining about my laundry loads being too big for the washer,"

AFTER:

"I am sick of my mom complaining about extremely irritating issues,"

If the person who's "writing" doesn't use the words "extremely" or "irritating," ever, or if the words don't make sense in the context of the comment, the Admins have probably deleted parts of it.

I'm running out of time, I'll post more about this later.
