Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

THE BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO CB.

Hello! Because a lot more people are joining the CB, I just figured I'd make a thread explaining the major parts of it.

1. The sections. There's the Chirp At Cricket (Cac), Blab About Books, Down To Earth (DtE), Pudding's Place, and the Inkwell.

CaC:  Hm, how to explain this. This is... kind of the place to play certain types of games, ask questions, ex.

Blab About Books: Easy! The place to talk about books and play games related to books (i.e: the Book Quote Game).

DtE: See the CaC, plus it's also the place to talk about very important stuff (e.x school) and saving the planet,  ex.

Pudding's Place: The place to talk about the arts! Theatre, movies, art, stuff like that!

Inkwell: My fav one! This is the place for young authors to go! We write RPs, share our FanFictions, do RRs and others, basically anyhting to do with writing is done here!

2. RPs. RP stands for Role Play, a cooperative writing story. Somebody posts their ideas, then everyone posts their characters until it's time to start. Then you write from the perspective of your charrie (character) and take turns giving parts of the story. These are usually in the Inkwell.

3. RRs. RR stands for Round Robin. There aren't many around right now, but this is when people take turns writing a story. Kind of like an RP, but it's in third person and you don't make up your own charrie.

4. S.I.s. S.I. stands for Secret Identity. This is when you go on pretending to be something you're not. For example, if you were in a food S.I, your name could be Eggs. Then people try to guess who you are.

5. CAPTCHAs. When you try to post, you'll see a little thing at the bottom to make sure that you're not making automatic spam submissions. Those are CAPTCHAs. Some people like to adopt their CAPTCHAs, they make little names for them and everything. If you ever see something like, "Cookie says vxun. Deer, huh?" they're referring to what their CAPTCHA was.

6. Admins. The admins are the people who look through the comments to make sure there's nothing in them that shouldn't be. 

7. Alter Egos. I was confused about these at first. Alter Egos are little CBers (Chatterboxers) that OTHER Cbers made up. They're the opposite of you. For example, my Alter Ego is Devil Owl, and Quicksilver's is Gold Guy. Note: there has been a bit of awkwardness with the Alter Egos right now. If you choose to make one, please keep it in the reserved spaces.
