I'm already in junior high. You may want to put off a boyfriend for a while, at least until high school. And I think you mean OCPD. OCD is a habit and/or idea that completely controls your life. My sister's uncle (she was born before my mother met my current father) has OCD, and it is not what people think it is. What people claim is OCD is actually OCPD, which stands for Obsessive Compulsion Personality Disorder. OCPD is where you are more neat and small things, such as the way M&Ms are organized for example, will drive you crazy until it is solved. Sorry if that was rude, but I just thought you guys should know. And the reason you should hold off on a boyfriend is that, boys are idiots in junior high. Well, most of them, anyway. You're welcome to have a crush, and a close guy friend, but you may want to wait before taking it to the next level. Oh yeah, and get some comfy shoes. Walking to every class in ten minutes is exausting (take it from Buggy. I'm mostly homeschooled, but I'm taking a few classes at the junior high). Especially when your classes are on the opposite ends of the school. Sorry this was long, but this is just some advice.

I'm just going to help you out a bit, since I'd just been through 6th grade, and I'm going to 7th:

1. Lockers aren't that cool. Seriously. You may not even use it for the whole year.

2. Well.... I suppose.

3. So am I :D

4.

5. Yes, alright, those are cool.

6. You won't like it once you have to switch classes. SO. TIRING.

7. Eh.

8. Eh.

@Rose bud:

I'm 13, but going into 8th grade. I'm only going into 8th because of where my birthday is. (December 28th) I feel you though.

SIXTH GRADE!!!!

I guess I'm pretty young compared to a lot of CBers, but my elementary school goes from K-6, so 6th graders are the oldest kids in the school. I was actually the second youngest kid in my class in 5th grade, my birthday is May 13th. I just feel so old now that I'm almost in sixth.

@Shadowdancer- I can't believe your school started on August 3rd! For some reason mine starts after Labor Day, on September 8th! We're already in school till June 20th with no snow days, and after this past winter, I don't think I'll ever be able to trust that there might not be any snow days.

Since I'm not in middle school, I only switch between 3 classrooms and I don't have lockers. I have math, ELA, science, and social studies. I'm excited to be playing flute for my 3rd year.

I don't want a boyfriend. I want what I have now. Plenty of friends that are boys, (and girls)  but no actual boyfriends. I feel like it just causes a lot of drama, teasing, and sadness.

So, that's it, sixth grade. I have to say, I am pretty excited.

@Dragonrider

Sixth grade is elementary for me too. I switch with 4 teachers though, and since they're combining two schools and knocking down our old ones, I get a bunch of new kids and new teachers. Tonight is some sort of walk through to see the new school and all. And I don't want a boyfriend, but double the boys, double the chances I'll have a crush. But of coure I would never tell him. Until at least 9th grade, anyways.
