Admin, about the Cricket contests--

Do we have to title it, or will the editors title it for us?

No, you don't have to have a title. We just judge the quality of the story itself. We won't give your story a title either. If you look at the winners in past issues, you'll find that some of them are published with no title. It's completely up to you. We look forward to seeing your work.

Also, I know about the word limit--Will the title and the part saying who wrote it, etc--Will that count towards the word limit? Say my story is 350 words but then the title is five words and the "by so-and-so" part is seven words, would that invalidate my story since the entire document has 372?

Only the words of the story itself count toward the 350, but it's every word, including "the," "a," etc. And hyphenated words count as one word.
