You know what?

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

You know what?

You know what?

Well, you probably don't, so I guess I'll have to explain.

Well I figured we needed a Studio Ghibli thread. For those of you who are clueless, leave this thread now and come back when you deserve to, and know what's up.

Studio Ghibli is amazing. I rarely fangirl, but I am obsessed with them. My favorite movie is Castle in the Sky. That !movie made my childhood amazing! I watched it so many times! I even made the amulet from it which I wear all of the time. It's also the first Studio Ghibli movie, for those of you who don't know.

I got my best friend into them too! Also, I love Howl's Moving Castle. I obsess over Howl, :D.

So for !y birthday, I hope, I should get a Totoro onesie! And maybe a Totoro sweater! Now, see, my best friend has a Pikachu version of those, so we will be the infamous Pikachu and Totoro! Go look it up in Google Images. Be amazed. That will be me and her!

I also like the company that made Secret of Kels. They are great at animating as well!

Studio Ghibli is life. Studio Ghibli is my favorite thing....ever. I reallllyy like it.

I'm not a big anime lover, but I watched My Neighboor Totoro! It was really cute and creative.

I'm the same with anime, but if you could call Studio Ghibli 'Anime,' then it just barely fits that catergory. I think at least. The characters have normal eyes (Save for the random weirdos with freakish exspressions.)

Studio Ghibli is better.

I love Studio Ghibli! My family owns both My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo. Their themes are so different from other animes it's really refreshing. Even one of my favorite shows, Steven Universe, says that the tears they use when characters cry are called "Studio Ghibli Tears" because of their quality. I wish more people would watch their films, especially now that there won't be any more. He did go out with aplomb, though, and his last film, The Wind Rises, was so amazing and sad.

@Katydid: You are right! Studio Ghibli is an awsome anime machine! I think their best movie is My Neighbor Totoro. I have a page in my sketchbook full of Totoros. And I hope you get the Totoro sweater and onesie you want. I also like the studio that made The Secret of Kells. They did another movie called The Song of the Sea, and it was pretty good. Did you know that Nausicaa of the Valley was originally a manga?

@Clouded Leopard: Yes, the themes are much different than most animes. Sometimes I want to watch an anime by a different studio but I can't because of certain things, but GHIBLI MOVIES HAVE NONE OF THAT! And I guess you eventually get bored of the rehashing of stereotypes, so Ghibli movies are one heck of a relief.
