Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
Dear Chatterboxers:
It has come to my realization that in creating the "ATTENTION ALL CBERS" thread, I potentially began a "civil war," as Cho decreed it. When I had the initial idea of a ranking system within the CB, I thought it was a good idea. But upon reviewing the comments made upon the matter, I realize that I was wrong. It was not my place to tell any of you to do anything, much less make you do anything you didn't want to do. That was wicked on my part.
I wanted to make a stab at organizing the CB by ranking it. It made sense to me because I rank nearly everything in my life to keep it organized and under control. But I now realize my faults and that not everyone needs everything to be perfect. I wanted to coordinate the CB when it wasn't coordinated originally, whereupon I realized that not everything is meant to be organized.
I asked the Admins to delete my thread in an attempt to stop the impending "war," but I know that simple deletion of the source of a problem will not solve the problem itself. The creation of this letter is my peace offering to you, the Chatterboxers.
As I read the comments of my thread, tears sprang to my eyes at what I had caused. I knew, deep down, that the CB entirely could be set against me because of that one rash decision. I don't want that and I hope wholeheartedly that the "war" will be stopped before it is fully fledged.
This is all I have to say for myself, yet I ask you one thing. Forgive me.

Scylla, the CB will never be set against you. You are essential to the Chatterbox, and admired by many, including me. Don't cry. We are here for you, on your side.

I understand that you wanted this to be organized. I can't stand when I'm working in a group and something is imperfect, disorganized, or not up to my very high standards, so I can see why you would want to create rankings. However, thank you for asking the Admins to delete the thread. It might have caused some trouble. I'm also sorry that my post on the clan thread was kind of rude.

aaaaawwwwww, Scylla, you know we wouldn't gang up on you like that! Like I said in my post on your thread, I was only expressing my opinion and I didn't want it to seem like everyone was ganging up on you. But, although it may have seemed a good idea, ranking the CB could result in civil war. Lots of feelings could get hurt. Lots of people could get offended. But, we forgive you. The CB wouldn't be complete without you! You have so many good ideas, and are so talented at everything you do! I look up to so much, and I wish I could be as good at things and as confident as you!
