Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hi, Admins/Editors!!

I am thinking of submitting a story to Cricket, and I had a few questions. worry, I checked the guidelines page.

My questions:

1) On the Submittible sheet, it says Cover Letter. There, should I put my story and my notes about it for you? Or should I just post a bio about it?

2) Any tips on when to send it and what you are really looking for?

As the guidelines make clear, Cricket only considers submissions from adult, professional authors for the stories in the magazine. Younger readers can submit work in response to the themed contests that are in the back of each issue. You can find the latest contest also on this website at cricketmagkids.com/contests
