Requested Compliment Thread.
There have been many compliment threads in the history of the CB, but there were always a few CBers who were left out by accident. So, this thread is for all of those who were forgotten. Put in a request here, and I, or some other CBer, will write you a compliment. Or you can just compliment the first CBer you can think of. Let's see if we can write a compliment for every single person on the CB.

Here is a quick compliment for:
Hotairballoon: You are sweet, effectionate person who adds so much to the CB. Seriously, you are an inspiration to younger CBers, and everyone else. You are one of the most creative, dedicated, amazing people on here.
St Owl: There is so many words I can think of to describe you're amazing personality right now! Friendly, Ingenious, independent, kind, thoughtful...You're amazing threads are always shining bright.
Lightning: You add so much to the CB, every time I see one of you're threads, I smile! You are clever, kind, brilliant and friendly. Keep it up!
I will undoubtedly do more later.

Aww, thank you so much, Lily. My little mini-compliment to you is a thank-you for making all of your long lists with almost everyone on them, and making sure everyone was recognized. I really admire you for that.

I'm sorry for saying this, but I'm kind of hurt, because not only do I hardly ever get complimented either, but when mentioning someone who doesn't get complimented much, I'm left behind, pushed into the dust. I know you didn't mean it this way, Booksy, and I have nothing against you. I'm letting you know so we can fix this. But little things like that have been bothering me lately. Sorry.

Yes, if you ever feel like you're not being recognized enough, feel free to request something. That's what this thread is for, no? Personally, I've always admired your animal anatomy - specifically dogs - and 99% of the things you post on Lap's Art Posting are significantly better than anything I could ever make. I never noticed you weren't being complimented much, je m'excuse!
I'd also like to request that The Riddler and Dandelion be complimented, as they're both pretty active but still not getting much appreciation.
(Dolphin says "cubh." Cuba's having some... issues right now. Might be best to delay that vacation a while.)

And Leeli, I think you are an amazing, creative person, that is really thoughtful and always makes sure everyone feels included. You're a great artist, too! I'm enjoying looking at your book illustration pages.

Thanks, Booksy, St., and HAB. I just realized how selfish I sounded in my previous post. Just because someone else did something nice; requested another CBer, doesn't mean I need to jump in and say, 'hey! Why do I never get compliments? Why do I never get requested?' Because that's basically what I did. But all the same, thank you. It means a lit to me, to be told by everyone that my art is appreciated, and HAB, you really made my day, because I've spent pretty much my entire life drawing dogs, and sometimes other animals. Also, Booksy, sorry! I got confused! Yes, there are a lot of owls on here. And St. Owl, you did nothing wrong by requesting another CBer, and it was purely emotion that led me to make that post. Thank you all the same, you are all kind, wonderful, people, and anytime I'm feeling down, I'll come back and read these and other compliments. Thank you. :-)

I'm sorry, Leeli! It really wasn't anything personal. I mentioned H.A.B. because this isn't the first time he's mentioned being left out and I was trying to be nice and get some compliments for him. I really want everyone to be complimented and see that they're appreciated.
(by the way, as a heads-up: I'm not Booksy. Let's not have beef with Booksy when we could have beef with me! [I've been trying to figure out how to phrase this all day and nothing seems to sound right. Forgive me for being crude.])
