I just recently found out how fun taking pictures is. My sister and I are saving up to buy a camera together, and I hope to enter some sort of contest soon. I really, really hope Cricket has a photo contest--I agree it would be awesome!! :)

:):):):):):) I got a hot pink digital camera for my 12th birthday. It's so awesome!:):):)  What kind of pictures do you like to take? We have so many animals, so I'm a real animal and nature picture freak.:):):)

My favorite kind of pictures to take is probably really closeup pictures of small things in nature. Especially dewdrops and flowers. I got a great picture of a raindrop on a piece of grass earlier. It is so pretty! :) Of course I also love taking pictures of my kitty, Pudding. She is a three-year-old calico shorthair with lots of white on her tummy, and she is adorable!!! Do you have any pets?

Yes I have SOOOO many pets!:):):) To hear about all of them, go to the Down To Earth section, and go to the thread made by Paige titled Pets.:):):) So many people have SO many animals!:):):) The other day, I got a perfect picture of my brothers cat drinking out of the bird bath, and his tounge was sticking out!:):):) I couldn't have planned it better!:):):)

I LOVE taking pictures, too!  I got a digital camera for my birthday last year and use it all the time!!  I like taking pictures of natural things like waterfalls (I'm trying to convince my parents to take me to Nigara Falls since we live fairly close to it!) and animals.  My parakeets are very good models.  I was drawing them the other day and I said, "Buddy, will you please stand still for a minute?  I'm trying to draw you!"  She immediatly stood still, in a pose. :)

That's one SMART bird!:):):) My Chihuahua, Rocky, is like that, too. If I ever find him in a really cute pose (with his tounge sticking out, sleeping on a chew toy, etc.), he always stays until the picture is over!:):):) We have picture-perfect animals!:):):)

I think taking pictures is fun. I was at a creek one time and took this amazing picture of a water snake. I have pictures of my cats everywhere. Anyway, yeah. There should be another photography contest!
