Spring Break is

Spring Break is coming up for me, and my family isn't planning on traveling anywhere. But I still want to have a wonderful time! Here are my ideas so far:

- Get milkshakes with family

- Go to the library (recurring)

- Antiquing. My town happens to have some great antique shops.

- Visit the cemetery. It's a great place for finding character names.

- Go to nice, big parks with a book and a pen.

(No calling me a grandma.) I could use some more ideas!

What are your plans, if any, for Spring Break? Do you have any ideas for what to do at home or around town?

Love your ideas Bear!(may I call you that?) But one problem. In my library I always get a headache because the heat is on 24-7. Here's some of my spring break ideas.

- Read on the back portch

- Have tons of movie nights

- Throw boomerangs in the park

- eat ice cream from Chick-fa-la or McDonalds!

- plan B-day party

- practice football with family

That's all I have. Sometimes my family calls me grandma too! (not often though)

Yes, you may call me Bear. That's adorable. XD

Sorry about your hot library! My library is always a bit chilly. Do you think they would mind if I brought a blanket?

I'm going to borrow a couple of your spring break ideas. Thanks!

Those ideas sound awesome! Though, our spring break just ended. :/ No matter! The weather is warm again, so perhaps if I finish my homework I could get outside some more. :)

My family often calls me grandma, expecially my sister. She really started doing that when she noticed me knitting a skarf on a road trip. Speaking of which, knitting a scarf is an idea. I don't know if you can do this, but zip lining is really fun (I just did that yesterday). I have a lot of homework, though so I can't do much.

Other ideas:plant a garden, cook something with your family.

Yeah, er,  this probably isn't very helpful.

@Poetic Panda -

I admire your positivity! Also, excellent CB name. Any bear is a friend of mine.

@GreenMango -

Haha, there are some benefits to being a bit grandmotherly! I prefer "old soul."

And that was actually quite helpful, I added some things to the list, including "learn how to knit." That might be a project for more than a week, but it doesn't hurt to start. Plus, can you imagine knitting something for someone and sending it to them as a Christmas gift? I could be the next Mrs. Weasley! Icj

Hmm..Isn't it the middle of Autumn?

Really?

If you're making a joke, it's not funny...

Why do you have to be so negative? Anyway, those ideas look great, Brown Bear!

@LilyPad,

I get what you're saying! Because in Australia, Autumn months are:  March, April, and May. Here, March, April, and May are Spring months. It's kinda cool that our seasons are different!

When do your guys' spring break start? Mine starts March 31.
