Hi!  My name is Lucy B., but you can call me whatever you want.  I'll tell you what an OC is.  It's basically an Original Character (hence the name OC)  of a book, movie, or just a random character in general.  I have too many of those.

RP stands for Role Play. It's a story people write together, using characters of their own creation. One person thinks of a general world or plot for the story and posts it. Then, people interested in the story make their characters (commonly known as 'charries') and then writes as that person for the story.

The CB- Shorthand for The Chatterbox.

CBer- Shorthand for Chatterboxer (someone who uses the Chatterbox).

AE- Stands for Alter Ego (which is 'Other I' in Latin). An AE is a character you create who is reusable. You write with your AE on any thread which specifically states that it is for AE use. AEs are often wacky, and a good way to use silliness and excess creativity.

Ski lodge- A story that one CBer (usually under a psudonym) writes about the other CBers who sign up. In the story, one CBer is the murderer and goes around killing the other people until the killer is guessed or everyone is dead. It does not actually have to take place in a Ski Lodge, but the originals were, and the name stuck.

Solo write- A story that one CBer writes about other CBers. Generally does not feature a murderer, because that would make it a Ski Lodge. Only the creator should post for Solo writes and ski lodges.

Charrie is a shorthand for character. 

A Role Play (RP) is a story written by a group of people. One person will start it by writing a thread that describes the set up, and they'll provide a charrie sheet. (Character sheet, it has places to write your character's name, age, and things like that.) Other people will make charries. At some point the started of the RP will say that it's starting and everyone writes from they're charrie's point of view. You'll mostly find these in the Inkwell. 

Like Lucy said, an OC is an original character.

I'll add a few more just in case.

AEs are Alter Egos. They're one part of a CBer's personality made into a person. They normally talkin italics, bold or both. My AE is called Sib, she the jerk side of me, and she talks in bold. Say hi Sib!

CAPTCHAs are the little box you fill in when you're posting to make sure you're not a robot. Some people name them and make what you fill in what they say. For instance, my CAPTCHA Genn says fvzm. I have no idea what this means. If it had been something like "wlcm" I would say she was sayinf welcome to you.
