Hey, guys, so, I’m back for an indefinite amount of time. I do apologize for how I left, for it wasn’t all that kind or anything. I was going through a very emotionally taxing time, but that is still no excuse. So, I am truly sorry.
For those of you who don’t remember/know me, hi! I’m Nighthawk. [obviously..] I’m fifteen, and first joined November 2016 and left officially a few months ago. I love most DC Comics comics and cartoons, Voltron, Steven Universe, certain anime, all of Rick Riordan’s books, and many others.
So, A lot has changed since last time I was on here. A bit too much to go into, but I’ll accept questions if anyone really wants to know.
How are all of you guys doing? I hope you’re all well. How about you, Admins?

Hi, Nighthawk! Welcome back! I'm sorry you were going through some difficulties. If you ever need to talk about them feel free. I saw your art on Lap's Art Thread; you've improved so much since the last time I saw it! How've you been doing? Have you gotten into any new fandoms? I have recently gotten really into Doctor Who! It's such a cool show! Rick Rioridan is so awesome.
Admins, I'm glad your garden did well this year. My dad planted a no-till garden, which is when you put a tarp down so the ground decomposes naturally and cut holes for where you want to plant things. We've gotten so much eggplant! If anyone knows any good eggplant recipes please tell me, cause I've eaten more babaganoush, eggplant parmesan, and garlic-eggplant dip this summer than I ever have in my life!
Does that tarp discourage weeds? Because we have crabgrass thriving next to the tomatoes and zinnias. I think moussaka is a Greek recipe that uses eggplant. Have you tried that?

Oh wow, thank you again! I’ve been trying to draw every day and push myself out of my drawing habits and comfort zone, and that has been really helpful. And references.
I’m alright, just dealing with a big health thing [not life threatening or anything, just hindering.] and working through some mental ish. How about you?
Actually, yeah! I’ve gotten until RWBY, Owari No Seraph, Boku No Hero Academia, and other anime as well as Sherlock and a few others. Oh wow! That’s awesome! What series [season] are you on? Uncle Rick is amazing and actually majorly inspired me to jump back into writing.

AHHHH YOU LIKE SHERLOCK! I love Sherlock SO much! Right now I'm on series 8 of Doctor Who. I'm sorry you're not well and I hope you feel better soon.
Admins, the tarp does prevent weeds! Plants can only grow where the light is so they can't grow under the tarp. No, I haven't tried moussaka. I think I'll go look up some recipes now!
Good. Let us know how the moussaka is. I think I had it once somewhere, but I didn't make it.

I have to do a TON of fanpersoning with you now because I am also into DW, Sherlock, Rick Riordan, and RWBY xD Though on DC we differ, I'm Marvel all the way.
I saw on the art thread you posted a new piece, I really like it! You've improved a lot. You also posted about scoliosis - I feel your pain. What degree curve do you have?
I'm reaaaally tired and probably delirious because it's past 1:30 am but I don't want to get up from my seat, and I can't think of anything else to say, but it's great to hear from you and I'm glad to see you pop in!

Thanks! Yeah, my sketchbook that I’ve been using since January has been dubbed the “experiment” sketchbook because of how many different and new things I’ve tried in it.
I’m not sure. Mine is caused by a ligament disorder that caused tmj which smallened my airway and caused me to breath hunched over. So, long story short, I’m not sure, but it should be better after jaw surgery and slight bracing.

Ah, you have dived into the wonderfully weird world of anime. Welcome to my kingdom.
First off: RWBY and Avatar: The Last Airbender (if you know about that) are not animes. They are American cartoons that look and feel like anime. American cartoons I really need to watch because everyone else does nonetheless...
Boku No Hero Academia I really should watch also...darn it I'm behind on current popular stuff.
Aww yas, Sherlockians unite! I started watching recently and it is so amazing!

Yup, I know. I probably should’ve written it in better order so as not to seem like I was saying it was anime. Lol, they /are/ really good, but don’t feel the need to watch them just because everyone else is. I mean, I /still/ know nothing about Harry Potter, sooo,,,
