Cassandra: Hi everyone!

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Cassandra: Hi everyone!

Cassandra: Hi everyone! My best friend periwinkle is joining the CB!

periwinkle: Hola! Cassandra and I are currently in the most boring class in the history of all boring classes(Spanish)- so she decided to show me this! I'm periwinkle, a violin player, writer, and artist. Ice cream and sushi are my all-time favorite foods- I just love the thought of sitting on the couch with a bowl of ice cream doing absolutely nothing. Penguins are my favorite animal and my favorite color is periwinkle. (of course)

One question though that Cassandra and I are debating; do you pronounce crayon as "cray-on" or "cran"?

It's definitely "cray-on." ;)

Cassandra: No it's not! It's "cran"!!

perwinkle: Also, fun fact:

in Canada they say "pencil crayons" instead of colored pencils.

WEIRD!

Cassandra: Anyways, before this gets out of hand... *submits*

Welcome to the CB Periwinkle! I really like your CB name! :)

If you need any help navigating the CB, just ask-although I'm pretty sure that Cassandra has already explained everything to you about it. :)

I pronounce crayon as "cran," but I suppose I should probably start calling it cray-on sometimes because that's how it's spelled anyways... *shrug*

Although interesting fact, "pencil" in english translated to french is "crayon." I think that's sort of confusing to us here in the U.S.A.... but whatever.

Anyways, welcome again! :)

Welcome, periwinkle! I'm Agent Winter, epic skateboarding fangirl and martial arts master (-ish). It's nice to meet you! I like ice cream and sushi too. And it's totally pronounced cran. I didn't know about the pencil crayon fact. That's weird! Anyway, see (or, y'know, read your comments) you around!

*zooms off on skateboard* *skateboard crashes*

Hey Agent Winter,

It's cool that you like skatebording and martial arts! I've tried literally almost all of the sports in the world- swimming, ice skating, gymnastics, soccer, basketball, tennis, ping pong, dance, AND skateboarding and martial arts. I've failed all but two of them- dance and tennis.

I've been questioning for my whole lifetime about how people balance on such a skinny piece of metal and be able to go upside down in the air. It's the definition of defying gravity! I can't even go down one neighborhood sidewalk without coming back with a scraped knee. (or two. On second thought, maybe two scraped elbows as well.) So I've already given up on that.

I have noodle arms- so yeah. Martial Arts would not be good for me either.

Which reminds me again... here's another even stranger question:

Yesterday a girl in my science class asked this- Would you rather have cooked spaghetti or uncooked spaghetti as arms?

I would have cooked spaghetti because then at least I could move around.

Welcome to the CB, periwinkle! I agree with you, it's definitely cray-on. Cran just sounds...weird. I've always said crayon, and it makes more sense to me since that's how it's spelled, but my dad says cran, and so does my gramma. I didn't know that about colored pencils; weird.

Heya, Periwinkle! Nice to meet you.

I definitely pronounce crayon "cray-on". I've never even heard it pronounced "cran". Is that a thing?

apparently it is... don't ask me! I had no idea that crayon had a different pronounciation until someone...*cough cough Cassandra* pronounced it "cran" and changed my whole perspective. ;)

Hey, periwinkle! I'm Gracia! What are your hobbies?

Hey Gracia! Thanks for asking!

I'm a hardcore violin player and a writer- just ask Cassandra; we've attempted partner writing many times, all of which have failed. ;) I especially like poetry, because it's inspiring and I normally dodge writer's block when I decide to write a piece.

I used to be a competitive dancer, but now I'm focused more toward tennis and ballet.

Nice to meet you!

Hello, Periwinkle! Welcome! Oh, yes, ice cream is wonderful. I just had a bowl of black rasberry, otherwise known as the most perfect flavor ever made! Pure heaven. I pronounce crayon as cray-on, seeing as there is a Y and an O in there! You can't just skip two perfectly good letters, they'll be so sad. I didn't know that about Canada and the pencil crayons! Cool, I learned a new fact today!

Greetings and salutations periwinkle! Welcome to the CB! :) I'm Fidelity, lover of text hearts and user of British spellings. It's super cool that you know Cassandra. I wish I knew someone in real life, but sadly, I'm all alone. What books do you like to read (if you like to read)? I need a good recommendation.
