What is your favorite song?

Mine is "The Things We Used to Share" by Thomas Sanders. Anyone else know that song?

Let's write the things we like about our songs.

My song kind of makes me feel meloncollie, It's about a guy recovering from a break up, and though I've never been a serious realtionship, I've had a quite a few crushes through out my life time. My favorite line is "What did you do with my heart?". He also plays the ukelele and I love that instrument and really want to learn to play it!

My favorite songs change frequently. Lately I've been loving Wake Me Up by Avicii (and the cover of it by Home Free), and Honey, I'm Good (also the Home Free version). I love the music in Wake Me Up, and the way the artists do both versions, and the lyrics are pretty decent too. It's also a pretty relatable song for me, and I like that. Honey, I'm Good also has great music. It's lively and upbeat and just...fun, really. And some of my best friends introduced me to it, and we listened to it together, so it's lso kind of sentimental in that way, and when I listen to it it reminds me of them.

Oh yeah! My favorite songs are mostly by Imagine Dragons (I'm So Sorry, Friction, Thief, Bad Liar, Burn Out, Zero, Digital, Demons, I Don't Know Why) (gosh I have a lot of favorites), but I also like Happier by Marshmello and Bastile, The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy, Light It Up by Major Lazer and Nyla and Fuse, My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark by Fall Out Boy, and Jasmine Thompson's covers of Ain't Nobody, 7 Years, and Home.

Oh good idea! Recently I have been compiling different pop songs, some known others not so much. I like Death of a Bachelor by Panic!, Sunflower by Post Malone, Eveything and more by Hollyn and Unstoppable by The Score... Oh! And Renegades by X Ambassadors. Plus Imagine Dragons Origins. I like it alot better than Evolve.

I feel like Panic! is back on track with his songs, but I only like a few. My friend recomended Hollyn and I liked her alot. Also note, I liked Happier before it was a thing - Its true I did XD I've never really liked Bastille except for their few hit songs. Marshmello is ok, I guess. Put em together and whathave ya got? Bibbidy boppity boo! jkjk

@Tux, I love Sunflower (Post Malone and Swae Lee) so much! If you haven't listened to it, it's so *ahh* good. The lyric video is amazing, and if you're a Marvel fan, Into the Spiderverse is going to be great.

City of Orphans, by The Classic Crime. It's not a very well known song at all, but if you have time, you should definetely check it out!

And of course I have to mention Fidelity by Regina Spektor. It's my mom's favorite song, and my namesake. <3 The lyrics are so poetic, and I listen to it all the time!

<3 Fidelity

Since I MUST limit myself:

Knights of Shame by AWOLNATION: The best over 10:00 phrase I've listened to, it blends cinematic repeated verses with hip-hop segments all with a theme of apocalyptic abandon and poetic hope that blends into an epic song that lasts for over 10:00 minutes without a single bit I skip (not something I see in most songs over 10 minutes).

Stand-Up Tragedy by The Fratellis: I cannot listen to this song without tapping my feet at the least. I love it.

Ode to Sleep by TØP: This song manages to mix so many different musical tones together in such a successful way that I can't not put it in my favorites.

Garbage Truck from Scott Pilgrim: Bread makes you fat?

I don’t have a favorite song; there’s just too many to choose from. One that I really like, though, is Kiss From A Rose by Wake Me. It’s a cover, I think of Seal? I haven’t heard the original, but I’m planning to look it up. I first heard a clip of it in a YouTube video, and first really listened to it at home after an early dismissal. It was so cool hearing the line “Did you know, when it snows, my eyes become large and the light that you shine can be seen” as I watched the snow falling outside.

And now, a list.

Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heroes

Army by Boy

Again by Yui

Birdhouse in Your Soul, Ana Ng, Someone Keeps Moving My Chair, and Don’t Let’s Start by They Might Be Giants

Larsong and Ratatatatouille by Guy Klucevsek

Gymnopédie

The Future Freaks Me Out by Motion City Soundtrack

sorry for not answering the phone, I’m too busy trying to fly away by in love with a ghost

Feel Good Inc, Broken and DARE by Gorillaz

Scar Tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Eye In The Sky by the Alan Parsons Project

Goodbye to a World

Winter by Vivaldi

My music taste is a weird combination of Broadway musicals and eclectic indie, and I think those are different enough to warrant two separate lists. My current favorite songs from musicals are:

- Sunday in the Park with George from the musical of the same title

- What You Own from RENT

- Edges of the World from Fun Home

- Who's Crazy/My Psychopharmacologist and I from Next to Normal (my current favorite musical!)

- The History of Wrong Guys from Kinky Boots

... And one more that I sadly cannot name here because the title is explicit (it's from Spring Awakening, of course). My current favorite non-Broadway songs are:

- Senior Year by Anthony Amorim

- Poison Oak by Bright Eyes

- Eugene by Sufjan Stevens

- Please Never Fall In Love Again by Ollie MN

- You're Somebody Else by flora cash

Favorite song?

Is there such things?

There are so many songs and I have to choose just one?

In that case...  my favorite song at the moment is Little Talks by of Monsters and men.

Idk what it’s really about, but to me it’s about a girl who is super paranoid and going crazy and is being reassured shes fine by the voice in her head. Can relate.

Some other favorite songs include: Just a Girl covered by Brix, Sloom by of Monsters and men, Fall in Line by Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato, Natural by Imagine Dragons, In my Blood by Shawn Mendas, Pompeii by Bastell, The Show by Lenka, and basically anything by of Monsters and Men and any of imagine dragons newer or older songs. Also the A team by Ed Sheeran, Riptide by Vance joy, Fight song by Rachel Platten, Gives you Hell by the all American rejects, and Have it all by Jason Mraz.

Okay I think that was it. Maybe. That’s all I got off of the top of my head atleast.

Noon says bita. Noon are you bitter today? Noon aren’t you always bitter?

My favorite song is ode to joy by beethoven I think. Or the Intermission song by Sandra Boynton. I'm not a big fan of current music.

Ughhhh yesss, Matilda, Wicked and In The Heights are all amazing! And *gasp*, you like King Princess?! I love her, she's awesome. I over-listened to her songs so I'm sort of sick of them by now, but I still think they're really good. Talia is my favorite.

Hmm, well, I have lots of favourite songs for different reasons.

Love Story by Taylor Swift is a cute feely song with a happy ending. It's like the cheesy romance novels I like to read.

Rune and Impossible by TSFH (on the album Unleashed) are both such strong, powerful, dark songs. So is TSFH's namesake song-- unfortunately it contains a word that the Admins sometimes don't allow (but sometimes do?), so if you decide to take my recommendation, TSFH should pop the band up just fine, and the song title is the same as the band name. Power of Darkness is the album, maybe. It's another good album at least. (Rather dark, but still good.)

Children of the Sun by TSFH is another strong, powerful song. Love it. Have listened to it on repeat for 10 hours straight. Still don't know the lyrics.

See Me Fight by TSFH is another hopeful one. Beautiful lyrics and music.

I've been on a Strauss kick lately, especially Theme From The Gypsy Baron. Classical, of course.

I'll probably think of some more later, but that's that for now.
