Pretty much, yeah. Someone thinks of something, and then you have to figure out what it is. You get to ask up to 20 questions before you make your guess. Usually the first question is plant, animal, mineral, or other, and then it's all yes/no questions (for example: Does it weigh more than a duck). I see we're doing this our own way, though.

My family plays a variation of 20 questions where we don't count the number of questions and it's always a person. Sometimes the person is real, sometimes fictional, and sometimes a random person named Bob that my brother made up on the spot. He like the name Bob. :)
