An Idea Concerning AEs

So I had this idea. We have some AE activity on here but still not a lot, and I thought, what if every week or month or two weeks or whatever works for you people, we have, like, an AE Activity? For example, one week the AEs could, say "draw" "self portraits", and then another week they could, I don't know, play Would You Rather, and then maybe we could do a Choose Your Own Adventure but with AEs instead of us? And then we could also do just reegular conversation starters. So, you know, it would just be like, character development. And so they have something to do.

So, that was my idea? And if y'all like it then the first activity can be... well let's make it simple: Describe your "home" (AEs). Like, you know, on that "Let's play house" thread. Or if you haven't posted on that thread u can just make one up now :D

Peace out,

-cerinthe

I think this is an awesome idea! I would love to join, but I don't have any AEs yet. But I have two developing now! So expect their introduction threads very soon!

So our AE'S are telling us about where they live? I'm confused. After playing Nancy Drew: Phantom of Venice, my brain's turned into spaghetti which was one of my spelling words today. Wait why does my CAPCHA have "zit" in it?

I'm kind of catching onto it, but my brain isn't fully surrounded by it. Shortened, what is the world are we talking about? So our Alter Egos will give hints of where they live? The Alter Egos will be doing a game and trying to hint?

Am I understanding this correctly?

Ooh! This sounds fun! (Sorry I'm late XD) REESE! SAM! NIGHT! COME DESCRIBE THE HOUSE!

*runs in, trying not to spill tea* Hm?? Oh... oh, this looks fun. Well, let's see, our house is a sky blue bungalow...

BUT I WANT TO PAINT IT BRIGHT PINK

Oh, and I want to paint it yellow! That would be cool. Maybe we could paint the shutters a darker color to add contrast, and...

*talking over Night* The house has a very nice front porch with a white porch swing, and the front door is painted dark red because I had to paint over Reese's... additions to its design...

Dude, that was like my best work! It's not my fault that you didn't want my graffiti tag on the door. You just have bad taste.

No one wanted your graffiti tag on the door, Reese.

SHUT UP

GUYS! *ahem* Anyway, once you go inside you're in the living room. We have a long pale gray velvety couch in it, as well as a fluffy white rug. There are also these lovely throw pillows with colorful dog paintings on them, WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE COUCH *glares at Reese*

But they're so comfy for sitting on to play video games!

*sigh* Anyway, the living room also holds the TV and Xbox and Chance's dog bed, which has a colorful triangle pattern and a white fleece lining. A door in the living room leads to my bedroom, which is the neatest one in the house *looks meaningfully at Night and Reese* I have a blue coverlet on my bed, and the pillowcases have my name on them in cursive, which is quite nice. I have a white dresser with a fancy round mirror over it, and a sign over my bed with "not all who wander are lost" on it in fancy script. It's a lovely quote. I also have white see-through curtains in my room. Next to my room is the bathroom, which is nice but we're not going to talk about that. When you walk through the bathroom, you arrive at the kitchen.

OH I LOVE THE KITCHEN! So, it's painted light yellow, and it has a marble countertop. Sam let Reese hang a couple of her paintings on the wall, which, um... add a pop of color.

WHY DOES NO ONE HERE LIKE GRAFFITI???

The kitchen also serves as a dining room-- we have the round dark oak table in there, and a bulletin board with reminders and drawings pinned on it. But we rarely use the dining room, we usually eat in the living room instead. There's a door in the dining room which leads to the basement, which is finished and has a bathroom and a second living room. The door next to that leads into a room to the north of the living room. There's a door in that room that leads upstairs. When you go upstairs, you're immediately in Reese's room. She says it's like a treehouse, and she loves it.

MY ROOM IS SO COOL. It used to be an attic, but we converted it, so now it has this awesome sloped ceiling! I painted a mural on the walls, and I have a desk behind the railing that's around the stairs, and I have a super-cool dog coverlet on my bed! The walls are COVERED in posters, but I try not to obscure the mural too much. There's a door in my room that leads to Night's room, which also has the cool slanted ceiling. Her room is cool too, but not as cool as mine!

Hey, at least my room's not as messy as yours. I painted the room light blue with clouds, and I have a white trundle bed with a cool woven yellow blanket with white fringe and a white zigzag pattern. I use the drawer part of the bed for holding my sketchbooks. I also have a desk, which I got at a yardsale. I use color-coded buckets to store my markers. The teal bucket is Ohuhu markers, yellow is for Copics, and the pink one is for Arrtxes. Oh, and half of my room is divided by a paper screen. The other half of the room is Agent Winter's room, but this is for Æs describing the house, so I won't talk about her side of the room.

Goodness, that got long. Anyway, this was entertaining. I hope you enjoyed our house tour.

Ooh! I love this idea!

So do I! I live in a treehouse.

It's a large treehouse.

It's quiet small, actually. 3 rooms.

Three big rooms.

Whatever. You're not even supposed to be here!

Okay, okay, I'll leave. Geez!

Anyway, it's lodged in a GIANT tree. It has a cabin-in-the-woods theme, with nonpainted wood walls (although glossed). You get to it by a staircase behind the tree (ladders freak me out). The main room is a joined kitchen and living room, and it's so cozy! We have a very plush navy blue sofa and a matching armchair. They're very nice to read or drink cocoa in. Some of Secret's artwork is on the walls (she does landscapes and letterboards). We have a Nintendo Switch hooked up to a TV, and three very floofy beanbag chairs. We also have no light fixtures, it's all lamps and lanterns.

Our kitchen is adjoined to our living room. It's pretty big, and has oak cabinets and granite countertops. In the center we have a circular oak table, but we usually eat in front of the TV or in the breakfast nook, which is off to the side.

Next up is our library! It's kinda small, with two good-sized bookcases filled top to bottom with books. There are big armchairs and one desk in it.

Finally, we have a guest bedroom. It's a little small, but it fits one twin beds and a desk just fine. There's a circular rug in the middle, it has pastel rainbow stripes. The bedspread is deep purple, but it fades to a lavender.

We sleep outside on a balcony! It's screened in, and we sleep on the sofa or in the guest room if the weather is really bad. I have a hammock, it's also pastel rainbow! That's mostly what's out there. Secret has an actual mattress with a sleeping bag out there. We have a portion that's not screened in, and there we have an little table and chairs. We sometimes eat dinner out there, but it's usually too hot or too cold for Secret's liking. (She's so picky!)

I am not!

Whatever. That's our house! Visit if you like!

This sounds like fun! Guys, come talk about our house!

What about it?

We have to describe it.

Oh, okay! Let's see, it's a house.

Funny, Ace. Alright, our house is fairly large- it has a lot of big windows, a big porch, and a grand set of dark wooden double doors. The siding is a pale sandy yellow color, and the shingles on the roof are light brown. Inside, we have the foyer, which is probably the fanciest room of the house. The walls are off-white, and we have a huge spiraling staircase right in the middle with an intricate banister. There's a nice braided rug on the ground, and the floors are all hardwood. The foyer is where we keep Basil's cage- which, coincidentally, is Ace's turn to clean.

I'll get around to it- oh, I want to describe the kitchen! So if you go around the stairs, you'll find the kitchen. It's really nice- the cabinets are white, and the counters are all grey marble. The walls are beige, and there's a big island in the middle of the kitchen, with stools- that's where we eat. There's a cool light fixture on the ceiling, kind of a chandelier, I guess. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen-

The kitchen that, if I may interject, has burnt down twice, thanks to a certain someone. *glares at Ace*

For the last time, that was not my fault.

It most definitely was.

waas Aces falt

*mutters* Traitors.

My turn. So, after the kitchen, we have the living room. It's painted dark grey, has dark hardwood floors, and has a grey shag rug. The couch is dark grey leather, and there's a brick fireplace with a wooden mantle that has a bunch of pictures of us on it- let's see, there's our family portrait from last year, there's each of us at our first ball, there's Quill working on her novel, and there's us when we first got Basil. In the corner of the room, there's a tall potted plant.

Harp, what about the library?

Yes! We have a big library, too! It's probably my favorite room of the house. It's sort of like the library from Beauty and the Beast. Lots of tall shelves, tons of books, and lots of comfy armchairs to read in. It has a bunch of huge windows, and a skylight, so it's always well lit. It's just really pretty, I like spending time there. Basil is usually there with me, she likes to fly around and enjoy the sunshine.

And upstairs we go! My bedroom is always messy. It's painted grey, and it's really not that exciting. I've got a chest at the end of my bed where I keep most of my stuff, like the magaphone I sometimes use to wake Bean up, and my craft stuff. My room is kind of boring. Bean's turn!

My room is painted turquoise, with a pink accent wall. My curtains are purple, and I have a soft purple rug on my floor. The comforter on my bed is pink, and I have purple and blue pillows. I also have a chest at the end of my bed, where I keep personal things, like notebooks or paints. My room is always pretty clean, and I have an organized desk in one corner where I journal or draw or paint my nails. I keep my guitar by the door. Harper, you're up!

My room is painted sky blue, and I have a fluffy white rug and white curtains. My comforter is blue, and I have white throw pillows with book quotes on them. I have a blue armchair in my room that I like to curl up in and read, and I have a big bookshelf where I keep the books that I don't want to leave in the library. My bookshelf is organized, but the rest of my room isn't as much. It's not nearly as bad as Ace's, but it doesn't live up to Bean's.

We may have been rambling a little bit here, but hopefully you find this descriptive!

You did ramble, just a little.

Whatever.

Sorry!

Say, bye, Basil!

bye basl!

Close enough.

Hmm. Alright then. Luna has always imagined our "house", though she never did post a thread about it in that time where everyone was introducing them, for reasons I can't quite fathom.

Honestly I can't either.

Logical, isn't it. Anyways.

OOoohh, I am SO starting us. Okay!! So when you first see it, it's this short teeny tiny house thingy that's like all tan and brown and boring---

It's not boring. It's... earthy. Better than your preferred neon green, anyways.

Whatever. Anyways, it's got this smol front porch, and when you first walk in it's just this hallway with walls on either side. On the right there's a door that goes to an office-ish thingy that we like NEV-er use, so cool we'll just move on. At the end of the hallway you get to our kitchen/living room. Directly ahead at the end of the room is the screen door to the totally EPIC backyard that is Luna's IMAGINATION. On the right is this old-timey kitchen that's got like, normal kitchen stuff I guess and cool granite countertops. Then on the LEFt you have the cozy lil living room with smooshy old couches and a TV. Then off of the living room in like the left corner of it, you have the door to the SECOND hallway. First you'll see the door to EStrella's room. YOUr turn now.

Well, that wasn't so bad. Okay. My room is fairly simple. You have my bed sitting beneath the window, purple bedspread likely very neat. my dresser stands on the opposite wall, my nightstand next to my bed. My desk is on the wall shared with my door, along with my violin and my bulletin board, with a calendar and some papers tacked onto it.

There. Your turn, Song.

Oh-! Well, my room is across from Estrella's, and the farthest wall is the one you pass in the entrance hallway... if that makes sense. Er, like the fathest wall from my door is the one- nevermind. *slightly flustered* well, my bed is on the left side, opposite from my window. on the wall farthest from the door is a table where my rabbit sits in its cage; then, in the right corner is my dresser, with my two parakeets on top of it. I also have a rocking chair by my rabbit. And, uh, I think that's it?

grEAt! Okay so at the end of the hall, there's the thingy above your head with a ladder to the attic. UP THAT LADDER, you will find my AWESOMESAUCE room that I share with our CAPTCHA Boo!!! I have a disco ball hanging from the room cuz it's cool, and a super awesome water bed that's fun to jump on (even if I'm not supposed to)! I have posters all over the walls and stuff on the floor all around! OOH and a nightstand with a lava lamp, and a shelf with all my comic books! I EVEN have y own TV and XBox!! WOO!

Okay, well, thank you for the headache, Sage. I hope you all enjoyed our house.

Oh, this looks cool! Our house is so beautiful!

From the outside, at least.

Be quiet, Niko, you're ruining Vivian's thunder.

Are you telling ME to be quiet??

*ahem* Our house is a lovely little two-story maple log cabin, built in the middle of a small wood.

Uh... yeah, it's wood. It's a log cabin, after all.

A small wood as in the woods, numbskull.

Oh.

Anyway, the first floor has the kitchen/dining room, the living room, and Nyx and Menta's room, and Dulce and Nikai's room.

The "no rooming with different gender" rule doesn't apply to Nikai because she's basically a pet.

When you walk through the front door, you meet a short, moderately wide hallway that has the doorway to Dulce and Nikai's room on one side, which has the door to Nyx and Menta's room in it, we don't need to describe those, and on the other side of the hallway is the kitchen/dining room, and at the end is the stairway to the second floor. The kitchen/dining room has granite countertops around the walls, cherry-wood cabinets, and a large granite-top island in the middle that serves as the dining table. The walls in that room are stained to match the cabinets, the oven, dishwasher, and refridgerator are black, and the sink is white. The kitchen/dining room opens through a wide doorway into the living room--

--My favorite room! The walls aren't stained, they're their normal maple color. There's a big and fluffy tan rug in the middle of the room, and a darker tan couch that runs around two walls. There's a long, low table in the middle of the room--

--Oak, stained dark brown--

--And a widescreen TV on the third wall! There's a low bookshelf under the TV, same color as the table, with a Blue-Ray player on top of it that's connected to the TV, and it's stuffed with books. The table usually has the computer, the TV remotes, and an open book or two. Also some dirty dishes, usually.

On the second floor is Vivian, Alex, Apollo, and my rooms. Also a tiny storage room that usually has Christmas and fall decorations, along with a few other holidays. Viv's big on decorating. You find a narrower hallway when you go up the stairs, which wind partway around a pillar, and the hallway has doors to all these rooms along it.

My r00m--

Hey, Apollo finally showed!

1 w4s 4sl33p. My r00m h4s 4 b3d 1n th3 c0rn3r, w1th wh1t3 sh33ts 4nd 4 gr4y c0v3r, 4nd th3r3's 4 dr3ss3r 1n th3 c0rn3r, 4nd 4 sm4ll d3sk 4nd... 1 4dm1t 1t, 4 l0t 0f stuff 0n th3 fl00r.

Apollo's room is probably the simplest, and one of the messiest, out of all of ours.

Surpassed in messy-ism only by you.

Be quiet, Niko. My room is AWESOME! There's a big bed against the wall across from the door, and it has pale orange sheets and a yellow cover with black lightning bolts. There's graffiti all over the walls, and a dresser on the wall on one side of my bed, and a desk on the other side, and on the same wall as the door there's a bookshelf with some Blue-Ray discs, video games, and comic books on it, and a small TV on top that I can play video games on and watch movies.

And there's stuff all over the floor, including some things I didn't even know you had.

My room next! The walls are stained to look like cherry wood, and so is the frame for my bed--

--Vivian is the only one who has a bedframe that's real wood. Mine's metal, actually.

--And my bed has white sheets and a canary yellow cover, and some white and yellow decorative pillows on top. There's a large, fluffy yellow rug on the floor, and cherry wood dresser, desk, a side-table next to my bed with a diary and a lamp, and a few shelves for shells and other collectibles. There's also a small closet built into the wall for dresses and stuff.

Mine next. In my room, the walls are stained dark brown, and it's the only room in the house that doesn't have more than one window. Like I said, the bed frame is metal, and the sheets and cover are gray. There's a dark brown dresser and desk, and a side table that has an alarm clock, a padlocked diary, and a flashlight. I have a stack of books on top os my dresser, as well as a bright lamp, and a small padlocked chest in which I keep some things that I don't want Alex or the CAPTCHAs messing with.

4nd th4t's 0ur h0us3!

We know that was long, but congrats if you read the whole thing!
