Yes, definitely! My favorite bookstore is the big one in Santa Cruz (I've been there twice) and I would gladly stow away there like in The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. I don't know if it counts as indie, but it's cooler than Barnes and Nobles. What are y'all's favorite bookstores?

Oh my goodness, we should take over Powell's! It's enormous and probably has every book ever published. Not quite, but almost. Plus, there's a coffee shop where we can get our cocoa and chai tea. It's one of my favorite places in the world.
