I cannot believe that this day has actually come. I have been planning this post in my mind since almost my first day here, waiting to celebrate an entire year here and thank all of you. By any account, 2020 has been a completely crazy year, and I am so glad that I have had the CB with me to help weather through. Suffice it to say that this year would have been very different and a lot less happy, if I did not have this place to come to. I have never seen or been a part of any other online community so creative, beautiful, and closely knit as this one. I can honestly call each one of you my friend, and this is truly something to be treasured. I wish there was room for me to say something special to each one of you, but, as it is, I’ll only share a few things.
Starseeker: You probably don’t know me well, and you might not even ever see this, but I just wanted to say how much I admire you. Your art, writing, and positive spirit are truly incredible, and you are high among my list of role models.
Brookeira: You, too, will never see this, but I have to say thank you for the invention of AEs. Abcde, arrogant and annoying though she is, is a huge part of my life, and I love her very much. Without you, I might never have known her, and I am indebted.
Hummingbird: You were the first person to comment on my silly introduction post last year, and your welcome to the CB was warm and wonderful. Thank you for ushering me into this beautiful world. I’m so sorry about everything that has happened here, and I will welcome you with open arms whenever and if-ever you choose to return for real.
Luna-Starr: Okay, first, the obvious. Your writing is incredible. Magicae Palace and its sequel-whose-name-I-don’t-know are utterly brilliant, and the style, references, and utter hilarity make them into masterpieces. Your sense of humor and beautiful poetry are utterly precious, and I’m so glad to know you.
Bakerloo: Thank you for having the idea for an Alter Ego advice column, and thank you even more for asking Abcde and I to be a part of it. The thread has sunk down in the pages, but I will attempt to top it once more. (SHAMELESS ADVERTISING HERE: BRING YOUR PROBLEMS TO ABCDE NOW!) Your jokes, puns, and etc can always make me smile. Plus, you (indirectly) introduced me to Politically Correct Bedtime Stories and Enola Holmes, and that in itself is truly great.
Luminescence: What can I even say? Your kindness, sweetness, helpfulness, and other nesses are beautiful and inspirational. Your pep-talks, especially on the confession thread, are wise and wonderful and have helped me more times than I can count. Lumi, you are a wonderful person, and I am so proud to know you and call you a friend.
NerdFace: Thank you for always being there, being my friend and talking to me whenever I need/want/feel like sending people random cheese emojis. You have supported me through my journey as a writer, and creating Camp Juniper with you is a high point of ever. YOU ARE AWESOME!
All authors, visual artists, and other creaters: It is so brave to share your creations with the world, and everything you make is wonderful. I am lazy and don’t comment on as many threads as I read, but I do see what you do. Thank you for making the world better.
Admins: Without you, none of this would be possible. You spend your days reading all of our comments and making the CB into a safe and wonderful place. Thank you so much, and I am sorry that this post is so long.

I'm breaking my completely unofficial hiatus (yes, the one I forgot to post a thread about. This is why I need a break XD Don't worry though I'll be back in a week) to post this but this is important, despite what Blaze says about breaking new years resolutions. *looks as un-guilty as possible*
CONGRATULATIONS, MORNING! OH MY GOSH! First of all, thank you sososososo much for that compliment it really really meant a lot, especially since in my book, you're the pep-talk queen.
Second, have some allergen-free vegan chocolate that of course still tastes good and- what? No, of course I didn't just steal your welcome chocolate and pretend I got it myself!
Third, you're an inspiration to me every day and I thank you for that. And thanks for bringing Abcde into the world, she makes me crack up with every post, and she's also given me some very helpful tips on how to develop my AEs furth-

Thank you for off-brand Welcome Chocolate! Seeing as I am the giver-outer of it, I have never actually tasted it, and it is delicious. XD
And I am honored that my help was useful, Alter Egos of Luminescence, although I never doubted it.

Happy CBversary, Morning! I first met you when you welcomed me to the CB on my introductory post as PygmyOwl ("Bird names unite!") and am so glad I can consider you as one of my CB friends. I love the storying you wrote me no less than I did when I first read it and have it saved in my writing software so I can find it easily when I want to reread it. Reading Camp Juniper is always something I enjoy. I know I haven't commented on it but I do read it and enjoy every bit. Congrats to you and NerdFace for writing a great Ski Lodge! I am happy I was able to contribute in a small way by supplying you with a map.
I hope you have a wonderful second year on Chatterbox and many more!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you actually remember what I commented on your intro post (unless you just have the whole post saved XD). One of my greatest sorrows about my name change is that I am no longer a bird.
No way! I can't believe you liked my storying so much! I was really proud of it, and I am so glad that you actually saved it to reread, that's honestly making me tear up, thank you so much.
And last thank you for the map! It's so beautiful, and has helped me visualize Camp Juniper infinately better than before. You are INCREDIBLY talented. Also, I'm happy that you're reading along on the ski lodge, I love knowing that people are really paying attention to it.

Yay, Morning! I confess: you were the first CBer I looked up to when I first joined. It was really overwhelming, but I saw "PygmyOwl" in multiple places, and you were like an amazing god of the CB XD. Truth be told, PygmyOwl is still a legendary idol to me, and Morning is the CBer I actually know. I cannot think of you as the same person. It will not happen.

Oh my goodness, happy CBversary! Seeing my name made me really really happy. I make ski lodges to do my stories justice and bring a little happiness to people, and I love the way you love Magicae Palace if that makes sense! It makes me feel so great to know my writing could make you happy.
Ha. If you think this is long, you should see my CBversary thread from last year. Multiple pages on a Google Doc XD
