As I'm sure you can tell, it's my CBversary! I've been on the CB for four years now, which is pretty cool. I love this place so much, and everyone here. Some other people have had CBversaries this week, so happy CBversary to you guys!
It's been a crazy year for everyone, and the CB has sort of been my rock. With everything that's been happening, it's been nice to have this website and all of you to fall back on. I also started questioning my gender this year, which has been quite a journey, so thanks to everyone who's supported me during that. Everyone's kindness and acceptance has made me comfortable and brave enough to be open about my identity on the CB, and everyone who uses my pronouns helps so much. The CB has helped me love and accept myself, and I hope it's done that for other people too.
Over the years, the CB has really helped me become a better version of myself--a better writer, a better artist, a better poet, and a better person. I wouldn't be who I am today without it. Everyone here inspires me so much every day.
Through the CB, I've met so many incredible people who I'm lucky to call my friends. I'm closer to some people than others, but I love every single one of you so much. I mean it. Every CBer I've met means the world to me, whether I've known you for four years or four weeks. You're what makes the CB so special, and that's what's wonderful about it.
The CB has changed a lot since I first joined, and it's been so cool to see it evolve and grow. I love everything it's been and everything it's become. There have been some times recently when I've felt out of place, like my time here is coming to an end (which is only to be expected as I get older), but then I think of everything the CB means to me and I know I can't leave. So that's my roundabout way of saying I'm not going anywhere just yet!
Okay, I told myself that I was going to keep it short and sweet this year, since I wrote a long sappy post last year, but this has turned out just as long and sappy. So long story short, I love you all so much, thanks for making these last four years so amazing! I'll also do a Q&A if anyone's interested, just for fun.

I can't believe it's been FOUR YEARS.
I have to go in like, five minutes, but I wanted to be the first post for some reason. Anyways! Hi, Quill! Happy CBversary! You are so epic and amazing and awesome and kind and funny and just a spectacular person! You're an amazing poet and author and one of the best artists I know! I love seeing your posts and I adore your AEs. Everything about you is just so positive and fun. I'm so glad to call you my CBF (even if you don't think of me like that) and I admire everything about you.
This turned into a flow of random words (sorry,,) so I'll cut to the point- You are amazing and I love you. Thanks for being a fantastic friend!
(Also, good luck with your gender! What pronouns do you currently use/prefer?)

I currently use she/they pronouns! Labels are hard, but I've been able to figure that out at least.

Happy CBversary Quill! It's amazing you've been here for four years and have been able to see the evolution of the CB! I might be new, but I always enjoy reading all the posts from you and can see that your and awesome person. I hope you know how amazing you are and that your contributions to the CB always make it an even more fun and exciting place. My favorite thread on the CB is probably between the Art Posting thread and the Evernaught City RP (which I was not a part of). Art Posting has been around for so long and is so full of talent and beautiful art, it's hard not to love it! Evernaught City was the first RP I read when I joined, it really helped me learn my way around the CB and I love the story. It also finished, which is really cool!

My most memorable experience on the CB... That's a hard one, there have been so many! I'm going to say it's between two. I really loved participating in Across the Void--it was so much fun, everyone who was a part of it was amazing and the story was so cool. The other one would have to be when Luna's Magicae Palace ski lodge ended and I found out there was going to be a sequel--it had been going for so long, and the fact that there was going to be more was so awesome. I was jumping around my room and texting my friends, who had no idea what I was talking about. XD

Happy CBversary, Quill! You're a kind, friendly, creative, inspiring person and we're so grateful for you and the impact you've had on the CB. I've loved competing in writing contests, seeing your awesome art, navigating conflict, and having fun on the YWP for the past three years we've known each other. And I'll always remember how at some points, you single-handedly kept Magicae Palace alive! I really don't know if I would have finished if it hadn't been for you!
My question for you... I know you've been working on your project War of the Words for a long time. When did you start it, and how has it changed over time?
