hey y'all! To anyone who has arrived here in the past 4 to 6 months, hi! I'm Jade J., everyone's favorite outgoing dyslexic panicking pan person. To everyone else, hey, I missed y'all!!! I'm very sorry that I went on such a long unannounced break. Let's just say that life got hectic. I was just now commenting on everybody else's threads because I was sure that nobody even realized I was gone, but then I was like screw it, whatever. Has anything gone done recently? Many new ppl? I'm in dire need of an update. hmmm, what should I do to make this thread have a point? I can't do picturings cause y'all'd be offended by my art skills.. oooo I have an idea! What if I gave everybody a CB aesthetic? So like when someone comments, i'll read their name and other things and tell them what aesthetic I think they have, or at least on the CB? Ok, doing it! If you want my guess to be based off something other than your name, give me some basic information about any part of you! (dang this is so random) Anyway, love and missed y'all!

Hey, welcome back! It's great to read you again! I haven't been much active lately, so my update will be – not so detailed. Hopefully someone else can fill you in more.
Inkwell seems to be taking a break from it's crazy activity during the beginning of COVID. But a solowrite (Snazzycakes's) has comeback, and a RP has been rebooted (Dragon Rider's RP)!
The Ultimate Picturings thread seems to be making a comeback, and you should definitely check out all the picturings. The Art Posting thread and Craft thread has great artwork too. Ski Lodges are bouncing up from the back pages, and sinking down as new ones pop up. (Not a Ski Lodge person so I can't tell you more than that.)
Random Thoughts and Things thread is going strong, and a cool new thread where CBers can get to know eachother has come up. I'm hoping I'm not too late so I can join.
Blab about Books is hanging in there. There are some conversations about new books there though.
Chirp at Cricket has seen a few hiatus takers come back (yay!), and not many new people. Maybe one or two.
This Month is hanging in there too.
Hopefully I haven't bored you. Writing this all down makes me realize how little I've been paying attention to the CB. Well . . . Life.

Hey Peregrine! Nice to see you again! Thank you so much for the very helpful update, you didn't bore me in the slightest. I understand getting weird CB withdrawal, but I'm so happy you're here! Now, for your aesthetic! Hmmmm, your name gives me lots of nature vibes (of course). I think maybe greens, browns, and maybe yellow? Let's see... oh I found one I like! Ok, after Pinteresting this, if concocted a blend of aesthetics. To me, you are a mix of the dark fairycore and mushroom forest aesthetics. Maybe google those to catch my drift? Welcome back, Jade! I don't have much to tell as I've been on and off myself for a while, and I think most of the time either no one notices I've gone or no one notices I've come back, sooo *shrugs* it's whatever.
I would be curious to know what aesthetic you imagine me as! :) Actually I think I made a thread like that recently...

Alright! So I have decided on an overall mix between indie, '90s, and cartoon aesthetics. Overall very colorful, fun and bright! Nice to see you!

I don't know if the aesthetic I thought up for you will be at all accurate because I don't know you yet, but just be reading your message and name, I came up with a mix between a light acedemia astronomy vibe and a bunch of bright golden hour feels. Hope that makes sense, I don't really know how to explain what the Pinterest gods give me. Nice to meet you!

Mostly I just stick to the regular poetry thread and the poetry contest, both of which are still happening. There are a lot of awesome poems and poets. Um . . . I don't know what else. You sound awesome.
