Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

NaNoWriMo.

I've been wondering...what exactly is it? I've been understanding that people write stories, and people have been posting parts of them (Keep up the good work!), but I'm still confused. And it sounds like something I'd want to do but it seems too late (obviously). 

National Novel-Writing Month. People set a goal of writing a certain number of words during the month of November. It has a young writer's program.
