Nope, I'm not Reuby Moonnight or LunaWolf.
Are you.... Jaybells? Periwinkle? Writing? A human? The sky?

I'll give everyone a hint: In my name, I do NOT hve a X.

(Captcha says drioh. Perhaps that's sayin' that oh, the paint's dry. I mean, I was using my watercolors for the first time two days ago and yesterday....)

I just was wondering: why are so many colors also flowers/fruit/plants? For example: Marigold, Rose, Lilac, me (Mulberry), Grass green, Cerise (well, this is a tad bit of a stretch. But cerise in ...another languague means cherry.), Violet, Green apple, Hazel, Lemon, Lime, (Wow, I'm frgetting the most obvious one:) Orange, Saffron, Cinnamon, Fuchsia, Peach, Apricot, Olive, Buttercup, Indigo.....
There's more than just that, though. Wow.

That might be because those plants have been around for a long time, and when people started seeing those colors in places other than their respective plants, they may have named the color after the plant.

Hello, it's me, Scheele's Green! Never heard of me? Not surprised. My story . . 'Tis not a happy one. Full of quite a bit of arsenic and easily avoidable tragedy. Quite interesting, however! Might I recommend giving it a read?

Also, not usually one to place guesses in my introduction, but I daresay I have a bit of a hunch: Mulberry, might you be Lupine?

*smiles* Nope! Not Lupine.
Hmmmm, could you, Scheele's Green, be Golden Lion Tamarin? Also, oh, wow. So people used you as wallpaper, but because you're toxic and stuff, and people breathed it in?? Not good for them... WOW you had a role in Napoleon's death?????????????? PEOPLE USED YOU AS FOOD DYE????????????????? WOW

(Captcha says mxcah. Um. THat's a bit too close to the nme of the book character I have a crush on.... Like, turn the x into another letter too close)

Someone should guess me.

Captcha said Wkehb. It is the weekend, correct!

Yes indeed, a storied past. Death and doom. And for a while no one even guessed me as the culprit. They caught on eventually, thank goodness, but as I said, easily avoidable. And worst of all, the man who discovered and popularized using me in the first place knew I was hazardous the entire time . . Diabolical. I have two more guesses for you, Mulberry, as I realized afterward my first one was rather far off. Are you Writing_In_The_Dark or Rainbow?
